Daisy, I hope you feel better soon. Aly, I hope the botox helps relieve your migraines.

Grateful to live here and now.

Grateful to go ahead and admit it is unlikely I’ll manage to post in the morning like I’ve tried to do several days in a row and gotten interrupted by some thing or another. So I’m posting at 9 p.m. instead!
Grateful the time with friends Saturday night was really beautiful and the food was a success too. I tried two new things — homemade chimichurri (super easy) to go with grilled veg and sriracha chicken. Everything was a hit and the guests also brought delicious food.
Grateful my friends helped clean up and even moved some furniture (this is why the one out of town friend came up — to get said furniture).
Grateful my husband took our kids and some friends to the Renaissance Faire this weekend.
Grateful for my sweet son last night asking whether the writing on Gandolf’s sword is elvin or dwarvin. Such a sweet nerdy little thing to ask.
Grateful I got to go out with a girlfriend last night too!
Grateful my daughter played restaurant and then fashion assistant with me before I left.
Grateful to keep an open mind.
Grateful for feet on the ground and for finding truly calming things rather than telling ourselves booze is calming.
Grateful for all of you and your kind spirits.

Grateful for deep breaths.
Grateful to be making time to run a couple times a week to clear my mind. I’m only doing a small 3mile loop by my house, but it really helps my mental health.
Grateful to be sober.
Grateful for the incredibly thoughtful gift my brother and my wife sent me - a cushion with a graphic of my horse on it!
Grateful for all of you

Rz, lol!
NCJ, running is so good for mental health. I find it so therapeutic
Aly, I hope the injections went well and you feel better today
Hev, enjoy the time with family/friends
Numblady, glad you had a nice time with friends. I love chimmichuri sauce with steak but never thought of it for chicken, especially with sirracha. Sounds delish
Grateful for the time I spent with sonny boy last night. He is trying to teach me Mine Craft, which I am miserably failing at but it was fun nonetheless. We also read together. He’s reading poetry for school, and picked Robert Frost. It was fun to watch him laugh so hard at some of the use of words in these old poems, then to be able to Google interpretations of some of them, such as A Girls Garden
Grateful for spray paint
Grateful for left over jambalaya stuffed peppers
Grateful my Dad still has his sense of humor
Grateful that next season of WestWorld and Ozark start this month
Grateful to have been alive long enough to know that everything passes and changes and it’s all ok, even the stock market. Lol
Grateful for each of you

Aly, I hope you're headache free today.

Fearless, I love the Robert Frost poems, sonny boy has made a good choice.

Grateful for a sober Tuesday.
Grateful I only had my g.son to take to school this morning.
Grateful to do a bit of shopping.
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful that the gifts I ordered yesterday for Mr D.B's birthday on Friday came today.
Grateful g.son slept all night and there wasn't a peep out of him.
Grateful to read Numblady's posts regardless of what time of day it is.
Grateful N.C 18 is looking after her mental health.
Grateful that Rusty's post actually made me Lol.
Grateful to read all the posts here and grateful to share.
Grateful for each and every one of you. xx

Grateful to have gone for another short run last night.
Grateful for the new ginger root candle I bought for my living room.
Grateful for my health.
Grateful to be sober.
Grateful to have gotten some decluttering done last night - I'm hoping to blitz the whole house over the next few months.
Grateful for all of you

Grateful RZ has the gusto to hang up when needed!
Grateful Fearless is learning Minecraft with sonny boy. How sweet :-) I adored Robert Frost's poetry when I was in school.
Grateful CK is here and sober. Gotta love the hangover free perks of sobriety!
Grateful Daisy's goft order has arrived in plenty of time for Mr. DB's birthday.
Grateful for Courage.
Grateful Aly is taking care of her dental health - not always pleasant but so important. I neglected mine for a couple years in my late teens / early twenties and ended up with a root canal. Have been meticulous about regularly going to both hygienist and dentist ever since!
Grateful Least has Billie.
Grateful Mags is enjoying the calm and clarity of sobriety.

Wishing you all a wonderful day

NC ha for some reason when I read ginger root candle my mind kept reading it as “root canal” and I was, like, wow. She is really digging deep on this gratitude stuff.

Grateful for big heavy moons.
Grateful for Fearless’ account of trying to learn Minecraft from Sonny Boy and of reading poetry together. Very sweet.
Grateful my daughter and I had some time to play Uno Dare together and we had a lot of fun. Then we dealt my son in and it was still fun but involved much more screaming and fighting.
Grateful for time laying in my son’s bed just talking about the day.
Grateful to be learning some skills from my therapist to not put up with mean treatment, which I got to practice with both children last night.
Grateful I played hooky somewhat yesterday and snuck in a nap.
Grateful I had a day with no meetings yesterday. Truly unheard of.
Grateful to be working remotely next week.
Grateful for letting other people do stuff even if they don’t do it my way.
Grateful to be back here with you all on more of a normal routine. For now...

Grateful to be awake, alert, sober and hangover free this morning.
Grateful to do my voluntary work in school helping the slower readers, they are coming on a treat, especially my little Turkish friend who could barely speak English just a few short months ago.
Grateful to have parents evening ( or afternoon in my case) with my g.son's teacher today. Grateful he is 'secure' in all topics and is doing well. He's a good all rounder.
Grateful to have some homemade carrot and coriander soup for lunch, it's quite tasty.
Grateful for coffee.
Grateful the other grandmother ( my bestie) is dropping my g.son off to me after school, it's such a help.
Grateful to have just found a juicy nectarine in the fridge, I though they'd all gone.
Grateful you're all here and grateful to ready your uplifting posts.
Grateful to each and everyone of you for your support and kindness. xx
