PalmerSage - I, too, am abusing food. We'll get it under control at some point.
Grateful for all the positivity here - we are all learning to be patient & tolerant, right? I threw a bit of a tantrum earlier, but I'm better now.
Grateful for the distraction of TV - but yesterday MrHev was watching a movie about a virus....nooo
Grateful that this will all end & we just may be stronger, more resilient, more thankful for an ordinary day.
Grateful for each & every one who checks in here & leaves a bit of themselves.
Love to you.

So glad for your online group, Fbl and that they helped with your anxiety
Numblady, it is nice to spend more quality time with family isn’t it? My son made similar comments as your daughter last week and got a neck/back massage . He and mr f have also been playing connect 4. We have a lot in common!
Thank you, Aly, Daisy and Hev re thoughts about my Dad and his house. I am grateful that things aren’t worse. I know they could be a lot worse. He ran out of food yesterday and the place he’s at was late getting him meal delivery. I was able to order online grocery delivery for him and take out all the way from my different State! It made him so happy. He has a friend taking him to visit another home this week which would give him more help. The house? Well, it is what is is and eventually this will all pass.
I relate to those of you having some issues with overeating. I went through that last week. I think I’ve got it under control now. Let’s reach out if we need each other around this issue. I’m trying to get outside as much as possible. Grateful the weather has been beautiful
Grateful to plan to paint some rocks today
Grateful to also get some work done. Long story but this pandemic is creating challenges in my job I never imagined. Grateful I have a job and Grateful my work team is staying strong during this time.
Grateful for all of you and for continuing the routine of coming here every day. Love seeing you all!

Grateful for my sweet horse and for getting out on the mountain this morning before a jumping session which gave me a break from the seriousness and concern over everything that’s going on right now.
Grateful for my home.

Take care, all 💜

Grateful for some time yesterday with my daughter where we sorted through most of the markers, pens and crayons in the house to see which pens and markers work. She then added this task to our shared to-do list just so we could cross it off and then bounded around the house with exuberance from crossing it off.
Grateful for a conversation with my son even if it was kind of hard, where I told him I was sorry for not always knowing the best way to be a good mom (this is part of therapy and the book I’m reading though I’m sure I’m doing it not right) and he said, “It’s okay you’re not around that much. When you’re here it’s better.” I said well I’m also just sorry for the times I get frustrated at you and he said, “you’re too light [meaning too lenient]. I mean, it’s not that I want to get in trouble but you know...” It was super sweet.
Grateful to remember that while some of these things in theory could have happened while drinking, in all likelihood they would not.
Grateful to be forcing myself to work out even though I also probably should just get in to work. I’ve been having trouble sleeping and I’m sure a part of it is lack of activity.
Grateful to go overspend money at a local toy store that was doing curbside toy orders.
Grateful for job security and to try and use that to support others in less stable industries.
Grateful for space in the house to separate from one another if needed (and kids let me!).
Grateful for some hot weather on the way.
Grateful to harvest a single cabbage we grew as part of a school project for my daughter.
Grateful for all of you and the fact that even when I’m in a really foul mood I feel at least a little better for having been through here.

Grateful for COFFEE on this gloomy Monday morning.
Grateful to be able to find the humor in some pretty dark situations.
Grateful that I am not alone in my overeating struggles.
Grateful to have a secure job that is highly conducive to telework.
Grateful that I now have coping tools besides alcohol.
Grateful to a few of my kids' teachers who are going the extra mile.
Grateful that my extended family is currently healthy and safe.
Grateful for the magical powers of exercise.
So grateful for SR and this thread!

Numblady - What an interesting talk with your son. (I was always 'too light' with mine.)

Overeating - I know I can't snack or it's a disaster, so I don't. Lately I've caught myself mindlessly munching for no good reason - I think it's an attempt to pacify myself. It helps temporarily with anxiety, but then there's the anxiety of getting on the scale to view the damage. Must get control.

Grateful our local Farmer's Co-op (Agway) is open - we were almost out of wood pellets. They claim to be staying open no matter what, because Farmers never get a day off - & their animals need to be fed, etc.

Grateful I saved all those plastic gloves from haircoloring. MrH is using them to pump gas - since supposedly that's one way the virus is spreading.

Grateful the snow storm so far hasn't materialized.

Grateful for those willing to step up & take charge.

Grateful for my dear friends here - I love what you have to say.

Grateful you are all here and posting this morning. So comforting to know you're here and to read your posts.
I woke with a fair amount of anxiety this morning. Maybe because I have to have my epidural this afternoon. I usually don't get anxious about it but it could be all this weirdness going on. This too shall pass. We may be changed, but we will get through this!!
So grateful for all of you. You are all in my prayers for health and safety and anyone struggling at all. ♥♥♥

Grateful for Aly's reminder to cancel a dr.s appointment. I'm the last person they need to see.

Aly, I hope the dr. soothes your anxiety and pain. I think they will.
