Aly, I hope that headache has gone away
I am so grateful for our “computer” family too. Least, that is so great about your meeting a member and adopting your Lily!
Daisy, that is exciting about the dental work!

Grateful for a good insurance agent who came back with a reasonable home owners quote after our insurance carrier sent a notice of non renewal. CA is viewed as being on fire now, so many carriers are backing off. Doesn’t help to be close to Sonoma and Napa
Grateful my car windshield was replaced today. Grateful I’m having other repairs done next week due to damage from the teenager backing into me.
Grateful for lactose free cheese and paleo ice cream
Grateful for the sepia color at dusk this time of year
Grateful to listen to the peaceful sound of frogs and crickets
Grateful for all that I notice being sober
Grateful to feel inner peace

Grateful for Billie (beagirl) and Lily, Zippy, and Franny (cats) Grateful that my parents allowed and encouraged us to have pets. We learned empathy at an early age.

Two young men were killed last night in a drug deal gone bad across the street from where I was working last night. Although drugs are also a part of my story, I'm grateful they are part of my recovery story now and I'm no longer putting myself close to those situations.

Grateful for Aly's volunteering at ARF. The world needs more volunteers. Especially those who help animals.

Grateful for Billie's love.

Grateful that I can keep someone I love very much at a short distance when their addiction is working overtime. Grateful for my sobriety.

Grateful that I don't drink anymore. My sober life is simple and free of drama. I'm grateful for that.

Thank you so much, least. Grateful for your friendship and that you are here.♥
Grateful for my walk with Luke, although it's starting to get hot again and is supposed to be all next week.
Grateful that I paused when my mother did the exact opposite of what I asked her to do. I am disgusted, as I think it was intentional, but she didn't get a reaction, except a look of disbelief.
Grateful for all of you here. There are some days I just want to take an eraser to my family of origin. Grateful I can't do it, I think. ♥♥♥

Grateful that I got my housecleaning and laundry all done. I did it in little bits and now it's done!

Grateful for good dog walking weather. Billie and I have taken several walks today.

Least you are one of my lovely friends who live in my laptop and I'm very grateful for that. There are so many good people here, I love that I can just be myself and be accepted for what I am. xx How lovely that you got your lovely little Lily from someone here. x

Fearless I'm very excited about having my teeth done, I have an Auto Immune condition and was quite poorly a couple of years back, I was sick every day for 10 months, which caused a lot of damage to the enamel on my teeth and has left them crumbly and weak, I was also grinding my teeth which has worn them down so I'm going to have them built up and strengthened, it will take about a year to do but it will be so good not to be ashamed of them.

Gosh Astro, that's both shocking and sad, drugs and alcohol cause so much damage. I'm so glad that you are safe.
Prayers and lots of them for your loved one Astro, I feel your pain. xx

I'm glad you've got such a good insurance agent Fearless, that must be a weight off your shoulders.

Big hugs Aly re your FOO, I understand completely how you feel.

Grateful for a sober Saturday night.
Grateful for the glorious sunshine today.
Grateful to have been very productive and got loads of work done in the garden.
Grateful to be 'good' tired as apposed to drunk tired.
Grateful for a quiet day.
Grateful for each and every one of you. xxx

Yes, it was Chicory from whom I adopted Lily. My brother drove me there cause I'm afraid of driving on highways. When we got to her house, she was waiting outside and I gave her a big hug when I got out of bro's car. It was a natural instinct to hug her.

Tonight I am grateful that Billie ate all her supper and graced me with a Lawrence Welk on our walk afterward.

Grateful DB is going to have her teeth improved and will feel better about herself.
Grateful for a quick night time dip in the pool, under the stars.
Grateful to complete some errands today, donations and the hardware store.
Grateful for a nice smelling candle and my cotton night gown.

Astro, I am sorry your loved one is struggling with addiction. Distance is good
Least, so true about simplicity and less drama in AF living
((((Aly))). Sorry about your mom. It’s good you are aware and can use the sick man prayer
Daisy, that is going to be so great to have the dental work done. Grateful for modern medicine, good doctors and dentists!
Pondlady, the swim under stars sounds lovely

Grateful for a fun day with girlfriends, which included pedicures, shopping and dinner on the patio. Grateful to buy a cute t-shirt that says “Chai Harder” with a cup of tea image, and the other shirt that says “do what makes you happy”. Don’t know why but I love funny or inspirational t-shirts.
Grateful sonny boy and dad had a fun boy’s day.
Grateful to sit outside late at night and hear nature sounds, including coyotes
Grateful to get to sleep in tomorrow. I think the Starbucks gal tonight got my order wrong. I asked for decaf but pretty sure it was caffeinated. Expect to be up a while longer.

I'm sorry Aly, I know it's so difficult to endure at times and I'm thankful that you are able to break away when it's too much

Grateful I have a couple hours today between service work and a comedy show I'm working to take a nap and play guitar. Grateful I'll get a couple hours of "me" time this afternoon.
