Love it, courage...we wouldn't want anyone to miss out on that.
RZ - If you're happy, we're happy.
Numblady - How wonderful that you shared the good news with your friend, & she was receptive.
Rose - Um - one loaf is already gone. Diet begins anew tomorrow. Or the next day.
Grateful that even though it's late - I am here to share my immense gratitude for my sobriety, and all of you.

Grateful for all the kind words when feeling ill
Grateful for the worst of my head pain going, just woke up with a dull thud.
Grateful I don’t crave alcohol anymore....it’s so freeing.

Grateful that Franny (cat) made friends with boisterous Billie tonight. She rubbed her head on Billie's face, in what's called 'head-bunting'. It indicates fondness for the one being rubbed on. That made my night to see Franny liking Billie... and it only took 3 and a half yrs to make friends... after Billie finally stopped chasing her. Ain't life grand?

Thank you Opi..

Rusty! So good of Courage to preserve your post for us. I've had one of those in my time!! They used to be given routinely when you were about to give birth. Be grateful you are not about to give birth.....

Hev - that's a bit mean. Was looking forward to that bread. Diet, or should I say sensible eating regime, starting here today too (in theory).

Numblady - I can imagine it was really refreshing to talk to someone about the reality of being sober. I don't really get that chance. In fact I mostly feel rather obliged to keep quiet about it.

Mags - hope that headache has finally gone.

Least - 3 and a half years. Well that just indicates a thoughtful attitude to friendship!

Grateful for a cup of tea this morning. Really poor night's sleep last night so I'm a bit exhausted and that's even before I hit the toddler swimming class.
Thankful to have shored up my motivation - not that it is particularly on the wane - through reading a lot of previous posts on SR this weekend. I had some time to spare so I read a number of different threads. Obviously we're all here because of our addiction to alcohol but some people have fought rather more spectacular battles than I've had to and I salute them.
Grateful for a very nice stroll through the park yesterday. Unfortunately no sunflowers but I did see one or two giant poppies.

Wishing us all a good week.

Grateful for the fresh thread. Thanks, Opi!

You know what they say Zip, sometimes your best friend is an enema!

Grateful we don't always have to take ourselves so seriously (Rule 62).

Grateful for another day sober.

FBL/RZ/Courage: that is all pretty hilarious!
Rose, yeah it did feel good. I was overall pretty surprised to learn how little people wanted to talk about the decision to be sober when I made the switch. But I’ll take the chances when I can get ‘em.
Least, love to hear about Billy and Frankie connecting at long last.

Grateful the coffee was made when I got up.
Grateful there is more than a single-digit chance of rain later this week.
Grateful for being here. Grateful for all of you.

Ha ha Rusty I'm not quite sure what to say there apart from I had a sudden flash back to the time I was about to give birth If that happens to you you'll be in the Guiness book of records. x

Grateful to start the week sober, hangover and guilt free.
Grateful my daughter has gone in work later this morning so she could take her 2 children to school to save me dragging my poorly g.son out.
Grateful he is a bit better this morning, though still not well.
Grateful for a better nights sleep than anticipated.
Grateful that the sun is shining and my washing is on the line.
Grateful for a quick visit from my mum.
Grateful for coffee and time to post.
Grateful to Opi for the new thread and for bringing Rust's post forward.
Grateful Mag's headache is on its way out.
Grateful Billie and Franny are now good friends and long may it last.
Grateful Hev didn't send me any of her delicious bread, I'd have only have eaten it all and that would be my diet down the pan again. x
Grateful Rose has 12 weeks, that's marvellous Rose, onwards and upwards now to the next 12.
Grateful to see my friend Erratic posting here.
Grateful for each and everyone of you who post here, you all keep me going.
xxx

1NewCreation - wonderful to see you here.
Thanks for the comments about the blueberry bread - made me smile. MrH has managed to polish off almost the whole 2nd loaf.
Rose - sorry you had a restless night - I did too.
Least - I'm glad the fur kids are getting along.
Grateful that although the coffee maker died a horrible death this morning, we had a backup one. Coulda been a crisis, people.
Grateful for the sun shining on the turning leaves.
