Thank you for the anniversary wishes 😍
Numblady, I really hope you feel better! I’ve had days like that where either from a bad sleep or for no reason, I woke up feeling terribly hungover even though I had nothing to drink. This too shall pass
Daisy, I’ve thought of you so much this week! I know it’s different around the world and not sure about the UK. Where I live, the teacher, the principle and the parents would all be called in, the bullies would be shamed (not the victims) and disciplined maybe suspended, and the other kids would rally and support the victim. There would also be counseling offered for the victim. I am so glad your g.son is loved by you and his parents. I hope there is other support for him too and I wonder if the upcoming retreat might not be good at this point.

Grateful for the support we have for each other here
Grateful that all things pass
Grateful for a laugh my son gave me. We were taking his friend home talking about math, which my son loves. I asked the friend what is his favorite subject. My son said “mom, you are becoming such a grandma monster.” I asked what he meant and he said when one asks such silly questions, it’s because they don’t know how to talk to kids and that’s what a grandma monster is. So I guess I need to learn to talk to kids!
Grateful that the angry outburst my son had later didn’t last long, and he apologized.
Grateful for rain and a fire in the fireplace

Thank you so much Purpplrks. xx
I hope you feel much better today Numblady.
I'm so grateful for your prayers Hevyn, thank you.
I'm very grateful for your prayers too Aly.

Grateful to wake up sober hangover and guilt again on a Sunday morning.
Grateful though though my husband was drinking alcohol in the house last night it didn't make me want to pick up one bit.
Grateful that though he left the empty bottle on the side this morning I had no urge to sniff it and drain the dregs! ( eyes roll up to heaven, yes I used to do that!)
Grateful for a half decent nights sleep.
Grateful Lulu cat is so pleased to see me in a morning, hmm or is it because she knows it's breakfast time?
Grateful the horrible cold sore on my top lip is finally diminishing.
Grateful the rest of the house are still asleep, I love this short time to myself.
Grateful for a good, strong cup of tea.
Grateful Hevyn got some sunshine at last, it's been a long wait.
Grateful Least and Billie have got good walking weather.
Grateful Fearless made me laugh with her Grandma monster tale, so funny, I must be one of those.
Grateful, so very grateful, that you, the grat pack , are beside me on this journey, you make it all even more worthwhile. Together we can do so much. Thank you. xxx

Fearless, thank you, it works pretty much the same here in the U.K, the school informed the bullies parents were informed, who were mortified. The bullies ( there were 2 of them, 1 more so than the other) were put in isolation for 2 days and we thought that would be the end of it, then the main culprit sent text messages to some of his class mates letting them know he was in isolation for making our boy pee his pants!! This was Friday, but my daughter will be straight onto the head teacher tomorrow, this has to be stopped, suspension may be the next step. x

Thank you all. I do feel much better today. Hev, thanks for asking. I’m a lucky person in that I don’t suffer from allergies as far as I can tell. I guess I just chalk it up to a good reminder of how awful hangovers are.
Daisy hope all goes well tomorrow and that the school continues to be supportive.
Fearless I am quite sure I’m a Grandma Monster with you. I remember how annoying my mom’s questions always were to me (sometimes still are). Then I’ll be driving home with my son trying to take the chance to chat with him and asking the stupidest things ever and realizing, oh wait, I am my mom now. Crap!

Grateful for a good morning with my kids after the Advil kicked in. Had a hard time getting them out the door but after that we had a great time. Stopped by a book fair at the school district’s performing arts center, which gave me a chance to check out the beautiful building it’s in. Went to a store for a birthday gift for a friend. Then Luby’s. My kids are really in to Luby’s. On the way back I experienced this beautiful absurd moment where my son was humming the melody of Push It by Salt N Pepa and my daughter started in and they alternated beat boxing and making weird sounds and humming. It was pretty priceless.
Grateful that the convenience of modern phones/technology makes it possible to capture some of the priceless passing moments.
Grateful to go to the revolving sushi restaurant last night.
Grateful to be down to single digits in the end of legislature count.
Grateful I hit 500 days sober on Friday.
Grateful I am here with all of you.

Grateful for ceiling fans.
Grateful to be making progress at putting things in perspective.

Hevyn, you have such a lovely way of wording things! So grateful to see you here every day! ♥
Daisy, I will be thinking of you tomorrow as well. ♥
Grateful for waking up earlier lately. I was getting into the habit of sleeping in a little too late, a little too often.
Grateful for a hopefully low key day. Yesterday was exhausting. Grateful that I may be able to sneak a nap in later.
Grateful for every single one of you. Your grats inspire me and I am also glad we can share things and support one another. Gratitude can be a life changing way to live, in my humble opinion. ♥♥♥
