Grateful to have absolutely no intention of welcoming in the new year by drinking. Where did that ever lead? 
Grateful to be content to stay home & not feel like I'm missing out.
Grateful to wish you all a wonderful brand new 2019. Together, we can tackle most anything.

Grateful for coffee and quiet.
Grateful that our lives and schedules will soon go back to "normal!"
Grateful to have the chance to make today a good day, and 2019 the best year yet.
Grateful to be sober.

Grateful to welcome 2019 in by being sober and present.
Grateful to get up this morning, have a shower, put clean clothes on, make up on and do my hair.
Grateful to find a new vacuum cleaner in the sales today ( well, maybe I'm not that grateful t.b.h, I'd rather buy a new pair of boots)
Grateful for a telephone conversation with my mum and to know that she is well.
Grateful that my husband has gone out for an hour or so with my 2 brothers.
Grateful for a phone call from my daughter.
Grateful for all the new year messages from family and friends.
Grateful to be sat here posting with a coffee and my little cat curled up beside me.
Grateful to watch the birds outside on my feeders.
Grateful, so very grateful to you all for your kind words, friendship and ongoing support. xx

Grateful to know that tomorrow you'll all be here again - ready to face whatever comes our way.
Happy New Year from the Catskill Mountains of New York - where it is oddly warm & windy. No snow - unheard of.
2019 - we are ready to take you on!
Grateful for my sobriety - another New Year's Day hangover free & feeling positive, not desperately miserable as the holidays end.

Grateful to be up early and clear eyed on NY's day.
Grateful I can be there for my mom, she has a really bad flu bug and she's 81, so we have to watch.

Grateful to ring in another new year sober!
Grateful for my little girl cat curled up next to me
Grateful for my morning coffee and an episode of a new podcast I found called Unruffled about creativity in sobriety
Grateful to be going for a long run soon
Grateful to continue working on the best version of myself in recovery
Grateful that art is anything we want it to be
Grateful to say yes to what I want to say yes to and no to what I don’t want in my life without any guilt
Grateful for all of you and our continued journey together

Ha I’m just squeezing in a little before noon so we’ll count it as morning!
Grateful that even though I woke up today with a headache and was awkward at the New Year’s Eve party last night it had nothing to do with drinking.
Grateful for the darkening hues of sunset and sunrise.
Grateful to be hosting our annual party and focused more on catching up with old friends and eating good food than having a legitimate reason to drink all day and evening.
Grateful my parents are alive, well, and visiting us. (Even though they are all fighting at this moment).
Grateful for the 50 percent off everything sale at the thrift store today (another annual tradition, this time minus the hangover).
Grateful that I hit one year sober tomorrow and although I’m working I’ve splurged on some uggs and finally using a gift certificate for a massage.
Grateful, so grateful, for all your uplifting posts.
