Grateful I made it to a meeting tonight. Grateful my SOmis so kind and supportive and drives me there. Grateful,I've been making daily meetings, and trying some new ones out. Amazing how much better I feel after a meeting. Grateful for the topic- grace. Grateful for time spent cooking and watching animal documtaries with my boyfriend. Grateful for another sober day.

Eddie, I thinks it's awesome that you feel that God has your back.

Grateful that I'm not drinking to numb the pressure of having a depressed husband. I now realize that it would only make the situation worse.

Grateful that I will wake up tomorrow with renewed energy and courage.

Grateful that I can come here in moments like now.

Grateful that I had time to sit in the sun today.

Grateful to have bought a couple of books to read for my holiday.

Grateful to have caught up with a couple of friends by email, I've been a bit socially lazy recently. But I realise how precious relationships are, and they do need a bit of work now and then.

Grateful for a really good meeting today, uncovering a lot of unconscious behaviours.

Grateful my nephew, who broke his knee and tore his ACL playing football, has got the first part of treatment over with and will be going for his second surgery tomorrow. Wishing him God speed.

Grateful for all these posts. Big hugs to all of those struggling. Together we are strong and brave.

Grateful I stopped on my way home and had a favorite appetizer I have been craving as a little treat. Grateful I don't need to drink alcohol and can enjoy time in a reataurant alone.

Grateful for a long walk with the dog afterwards. Me and the pooch stopped in awe of a stunning sunset with pink and sparkling gold across a sky of robin's egg blue. Just stunning!!

Grateful I love my family and friends, and grateful they love me.

Thanks yet again, Glad!! It IS awesome.

Grateful I got back on the bike trail at a park I find very difficult...and kicked a$$, although I had to quit early because I wore myself out kicking said a$$. Glad I know when to say when.

Grateful I did some outdoor unplanned yoga at the park while waiting for my brother to finish riding. It was gorgeous outside. I took a bunch of selfies while trying to do a balance pose. Pretty funny.

Grateful for a long and very needed talk with my sponsor and for moving on to Step 11.

Grateful I am not using or otherwise relapsing over the news that my dad is going to hospice care.

Grateful I spent an hour and a half with my mom at her assisted living today.

Sad, but grateful.

Love, hugs, and many thanks,
Eddie

Small world HL, I grew up in a suburb not ten minutes from Bondi and my aunt lived there.

Grateful for more harvesting from my gardens. I never get tired of creating meals with fresh ingredients.

Grateful for a nice tea time with one of my bestest friend who happens to be 35 years older than me. That makes her much wiser than me.

Grateful for being more focused and productive at work.
