Grateful to have spent quality time with my brother. We are really getting to know each other on a less superficial level and I am so enjoying it.

Grateful I can spend so much time with he and his family although I do not drink and they all do. We are over that hump and they always buy what I like and mix me up cranberry and club soda just how I like it. I feel very accepted and loved and I think they do as well.

Grateful to be home now, as his three grandchildren tired me out though they do love me. : )

Grateful I am getting better at "turning down the volume" when others around me start escalating rather than escalating along with them. Glad that I feel the need to argue much less often these days. It's much less tiring this way.

And grateful I am asking for help and not doing things I'm not really up to. We just found out my dad probably has stage IV cancer and he has been in the hospital all weekend. I was already run down, so I'm really needing folks to help me out. Glad I can ask AND help myself, too!

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Sorry about your father Eddie. I hope you find the strength you need each day.

Grateful for a great day, hiking, talking, hanging out with my favourite people.

Grateful I could tell my BF that I didn't want a drink after a long hike. First time in the 20 years that we've known each other and have been hiking together.

Grateful to be going to bed, sober and exhausted, anticipating a day off tomorrow. Grateful I made a meeting tonight, especially as I was feeling worn out and frazzled. Grateful I'm not feeling that way anymore (or at least quite as much) Grateful the meeting I went to was a step meeting, and we talked about step three, which is basically right where I'm at. Grateful my boyfriends housemate shared some smoothie he made with my boyfriend and I. It was really touching when he placed he two cups on the table and kind of made my night. Grateful I have a day to myself tomorrow! Thanks for reading.

I'm grateful that I will wake up feeling decent tomorrow morning. I'm grateful for the basic serenity I feel when I return to SR.

Thank you SR.

(((eddie)))

Grateful to check in here. I've been working a ton of hours. 70 hours this week and all 7 days. 64 hours and 7 days last week also.

Grateful to have Labor Day off.

Grateful for the humming sound of the fan I have on. It's one of those old K-Mart fans probably at least 20 years old. Our air conditioning is out right now and the fans are saving me from going insane. The noise and breeze seems to be soothing me.

Grateful that despite all our different lives, we all come here to show our gratitude for some of the simplest things that show up in our days.

Grateful that with the good things and bad (Eddie - I'll keep your father and family in my prayers), that again, we all come here to show our gratitude.

Grateful that no matter how busy our lives get, we continue to reach out to others to help teach that we are not alone, and that there is hope.

Grateful for the laughter I shared with my Mom tonight.

Grateful for my Dad's stories he told about from his days with his Dad.

Grateful for that precious time I get with them.

Grateful for the sound of the crickets. They are deafening this time of year in Michigan - and they sing me to sleep.

Grateful for the fresh tomatoes that are ripening - nothing like it.

Grateful to go to bed sober.

(((Marcher)))

Grateful for a 15 minute jog this morning followed by some stretching. I try to get some exercise in, even if its just once a week. Seems to help so much with stress.

Grateful for a nice shower and shave afterwards.

Eddie and Marcher, thinking of you both.

Grateful that we can share good days and not so good days.

Grateful I was home earlier than expected, I have time to read some of my book before bed.

Grateful for a phone call from my Mum, we had a longish chat about everything and nothing, it's seems much easier to talk on the phone than it used to (not so long ago I avoided the phone completely).

Thank you, free, HeadLump, Astro, Marjoram, uncle, EQ, Gladiolus, RZ, Waterfalls. Much appreciated.

Grateful my new bhakti yoga teacher spent almost double time with me today and we did more EFT tapping than chanting. Felt like crapola going in and much, much better coming out. Thank you, Suzy!

And grateful I didn't slap my dad's girlfriend upside the head...or yell at her daughter. Worst thing I did today was hang up on my ex. So glad I seem to be able to handle myself better nowadays. More gifts of the Program!

Love and hugs,
Eddie
