Grateful for another sober day. Grateful for the fact that despite what may have happened, I didn't drink or use and that means today was a victory. Grateful to be able to help a friend out. Grateful to be on a comfortable couch with my SO as he enjoys watching soccer. Grateful for a meeting this am.

5 Things Im Grateful for Tonight:
1) Going to bed sober
2) Spending the evening with my sponsor and feeling a growth in our connection
3) When they ran out of 24 hour desire chips at the meeting tonight and a member of the group lent his to me to hang on to until next week when I can come back and get my own
4) Having a little cry with my sponsor sitting in her car talking after the meeting
5) Being able to feel a connection with my higher power tonight

Grateful for a sense of contentment in not having to drink.

Grateful that when two opportunities came up yesterday to drink, that I walked away with a smile in my heart silently saying "I don't need it, I don't want it, and I"m okay with it".

Grateful to celebrate a full week of sobriety. Last Saturday was my last drink. Haven't had a week in a while and it feels super.

Grateful for a beautiful moon, which I was able to see because my dogs woke me up to be let out at 2:20 a.m..

Grateful for the big bag of fresh picked beans my Mom and Dad gave me so I can make dilly beans today after church.

I'm grateful to go to bed and break the cycle today. I am grateful for finding this site as you all seem like wonderful people. I am grateful for a family that loves me in spite of my weaknesses.

Grateful to realise I am chewing my cuticles again which I haven't done for 18 months (sobriety). Ten fingers, three bandaids. I'm grateful to realise that I am really bothered by something and I need to work that out.

Thanks, Marcher! So awesome that, instead of beating yourself up over this, you're trying to figure out what's going on and move forward. Sets a great example!

Grateful that after a fairly miserable night with little good sleep, I reset and recharged this morning and felt so much better all day than the last few days. Going to Unity helped a lot. Particularly grateful for that.

And grateful for my not-quite stepsister (my dad & her mom never married). She has gotten on my nerves with all the stuff going on with my dad dying, but she has also shared some very kind words with me. I have known her for close to 35 years and she has always treated me well. Now I want to let HER know I appreciate it!

Grateful for another sober day.
Grateful for a peaceful evening. Grateful my SO harvested some broccoli and edamame beans, which I was able to pass on to my friend, whose wife is recovering from cancer. Grateful for his text of gratitude. There was a drunk guy in the bus this morning. Grateful that's not me. There but for the grace of God...grateful for the grace.
Grateful to be going down to New Jersey to see my family. Have to change trains in NYC- will be hitting a meeting in Manhattan because I have some time to kill. There's a meeting a half hour after I arrive, right where the bus stops. Really excited about my big apple meeting!
Grateful for the community here, and everyone's shares.
