Yes, Lady Gaga is my frequent walking (& singing) companion, too. And I just put a '90s Duran Duran album on my iPod for my next jaunt!

Grateful that I am apparently a good role model for some of the difficult people in my life. Glad I have something good to rub off on them.

And grateful I went to a group meditation at Unity this morning and sat for over an hour. That's a record. Not that long ago, I would have rushed off thinking I had more important things to do...

Love and hugs,
Eddie

I am so grateful for friends and family that are supporting me even though I have made huge mistakes. Grateful that I still have a family that loves me.

Yes, good news! And speaking of which, is Poophead really the cat's name, or just a nickname?

Grateful I have learned to listen to my body better and know how to modify poses in yoga classes. I hope my shoulder will not complain too loudly tomorrow. Glad I don't push myself too hard anymore.

And glad for a walk today in this bizarrely warm weather, although I was disappointed that the Duran Duran album was not on my iPod for some reason....

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful tonight for Jonathan, a filling dinner on a cold night, a great meeting tonight in the chat room, everyone here at SR and a lovely shade of lavender nail polish I found.

The little things help make this possible.

Poophead is his nickname. Although we call him poophead probably 90% of the time.

My nickname is "pooper scooper." Yes, I have the luxurious job of scooping poophead's litter box. Lucky me.

Grateful poophead licked my forehead after giving him a hug.

To Uncle Holmes,

My cat is Tixie. She stalks me when she gets a clue I am leaving the house.

She lays down on the floor on her back with legs and arms up to stop me from leaving.

Heck, no one else cared so much, ha!

Thought you would appreciate my genius/goofy cat story.

There's many more; I'll add some later for anyone who wishes to read....now my Brother's dog on the other hand........She is some kind of nightmare in her own sweet way

I say we start a goofy cat/pet thread. I thought there was a pet group but I like the thread better. I know I have some goofy cats. Between hubby, his parents and mine, we have 6 goofy cats.

Tonight I am grateful for what Jonathan has shown me, for what I have learned here at SR, sober activities and being able to make it through my cravings.
