Grateful for my AA meeting tonight.
Grateful to see someone pick up a 1 day chip
and another pick up 10 years.
Met an old friend I use to go to meetings with back in the 90s.
Grateful I have 1 month of nicotine clean time.

Grateful to be here tonight, I was too upset last night.
Grateful to realise that last night I simply made a mistake, the world did not come to an end.
Following on from that, I am incredibly grateful that I did not drink, I still have eight consecutive months.

Good stuff posted here lately, but it's all good, right?!
Grateful that I got to do some fun work with a friend. Aerial photography. A new hobby that might turn into a business venture.

Grateful that I'm home safe.
Grateful to imagine making more life changes eventually.
Grateful I got my first months utility bills and they're much more manageable than in my previous home.
Grateful for change. Wow. Look at me!!

Tonight I am grateful for? I like that. I'm grateful for kitties, too.
Grateful I decided to cancel Mom's doctor appt. today. Otherwise, I would have ended up taking her to a different doc every day four days in a row. Glad I know how to take a day off when I need it.
And grateful I shelled out the $$$ for an energy healing session today, too. I needed it. Glad I'm open-minded about such things nowadays, enough to reap the benefits. I deprived myself of a lot of good stuff when I belonged to "The Church of the Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled Clinical Trial" (sponsored by Big Pharma).

Grateful to have met my Cousin and had a wonderful time catching up.
Grateful to come home and put my feet up after a long drive.
Grateful to be able to go to a nice Concert here in my Senior Apts..just walking...no driving.
Grateful that my cat is so loveable and sweet. Sometimes I could say well behaved, but, alas not often.
Grateful for family and the Holidays coming up....especially watching grandkids with eyes wide and big smiles....tyou

Grateful not to be taking any drugs, except aspirin, for this migraine headache. Grateful that through the pain I can think clearly enough to know that taking strong drugs for the pain is not in my best interest and this will pass.

I've had a few craigslist buyers like that. Grateful they went away and someone else more appreciative and respectful came along!
Grateful that my wife and I had a long talk about finances and we didn't get angry or fight.

Grateful I met with and hired a dogwalker two days a week.... because it will help the dogs nerves and enable me to not rush home from work Tues and Fridays. (I have almost an hr commute home) and hence start to create a social life. (I am trying not to judge myself for this. But I never thought I'd pay someone to walk my own dog!)
Grateful I found some smashing finds at the thrift store today. SO fun!!
Grateful my Dad's outpatient arm surgery went well today. He is fine. Flirting with the nurses like always. Grateful my sister took him and he is convalescing at her home. Grateful also my friend's condition is stable. (Thanks guys)
Grateful I downloaded a pedometer app. (Somehow that doesn't match with hiring a dogwalker...)
Grateful the man at the hardware store called me "young lady" today. Lol Grateful Mom taught me to moisturize from a young age....

Winding down a busy day...
Grateful for breakfast with an AA friend and going to our home group.
Grateful to do a quasi-12 step call along with my sponsor.
Grateful my financial plans for my trips next year are starting to work.
Honestly, just damn grateful to be alive.
