Grateful for a slow morning to gather my thoughts.
Seeing patterns that brought me to this.
A meeting later my sponsor to talk about it all.

Following a rather difficult week...so, my new start today...
I am grateful for:
  • Remembering this thread after a well over a year absence...and SR in general
  • My two daughters and the fine young women they are becoming
  • The ability to fight this struggle as a we vs just I
  • Last nights AA meeting and topic (and that they forgot any sweets, been hitting the sweets way to hard for about a month now)
  • The resolve and desire to give myself a break and live in today, just for today
  • Another day of freedom from the obsession to drink
  • Slight progress at understanding and change in my alcoholic thinking
