Today I am grateful for the SR Website because....
I am grateful for SR for all the help I have received, for the times when I can help another, and because it helps so, so many people.
And I agree with above posters, I am grateful to EQ for always thoughtful, engaging posts.

Great thing to be grateful for is this board. I do not go to AA and I'm not really "working" an active recovery plan. I'm just living and abstaining, doing a damn good job at it and loving it too. But I've relapsed before while attending AA. I know what relapse is and I see it now before it gets me. I honestly feel like I got it licked, but you know what? I know better. I've seen the bitch sneak up on me and even before I knew it, I was blacked out and hung over. This board helps me to remember the pain the drinking caused. To show me that others understand my struggle. And that it can be beat and it doesn't have to be miserable.
I love you peeps. I hope that you find sobriety. I mean, what are our other options ?? Lose our families? Our families gone for booze? No fawking way mate. Not me. Never again.

I'm grateful to SR because it is available all the time to anyone who can get online. I know that's not everyone from my own experience, but it still reaches a lot of people.
I'm grateful for SR because it is the only available support that is safe and anonymous for many people.
I'm grateful for SR for so many lives it touches and saves.
