Today I am grateful for SR because I have had to face a lot of stress alone lately,
.....and SR is always here to take a break with so I feel less alone and scared.

Today, I am packing for an upcoming move, and before, I would've drank while I packed to soothe my anxiety....
only not really because if I was still drinking I never would have accomplished anything to get to this point where I can move.

Just For Today

Today I am grateful to be able to live One Day At A Time.
Today I am grateful my beloved cat "Tixie" is healthier than before.
Today I am grateful for my Sister who is loving and caring.
Today I am grateful for the doctors who are helping me with the pain of Neuropathy.
Today I am grateful I can crochet as it helps me relax and be creative.

I am grateful to SR because the day I registered September 11th 2011, is the day I stopped using cocaine! I'm coming up on 2 celebrations. SR you are FANTASTIC. Thank you so much.

...thanks because it's so easy to fall back into 'stinking thinking' and giving too much power to people, places and things....your comment hit me just at the right time! My Higher Power always finds a way to bring me back around to sanity. Before I read this I was listing to myself...and that can be a very dangerous thing for sure.
