Bedtime Gratitude-Part 31
I'm grateful for my job at the raw food kitchen! I was there today makin' some money and having a good time with the food preparation. I also made the front end real pretty for an upcoming open house. The heathy stuff can be fun, I'd have never thought I'd be having fun with something that isn't even my lifestyle.
I'm grateful to learn about something new!

Grateful for remembering to call and ask SOMEONE ELSE what they want to do when I'm feeling like I don't know what to do next. Three times today I deferred to what somebody else suggested and it really helped me relax more. Good to know!
And grateful for the almost-ex fixing my Rock Band kick drum pedal. I'm back in business.
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful that I'm learning that as I admit to, own, and process some of my biggest mistakes and regrets, I am feeling freer! I am able to imagine what I'd like my future to be and am beginning to work toward it.
I don't want to make more mistakes and if I stay sober I have a much greater chance of actually reaching goals instead of just dreaming about them while drinking.

I did not want to go to my noon meeting....it was pouring rain
my old bones were protesting...
Grateful I went...ran into an old AA friend who had just started
meetings again. She now has 12 years but was there to
re connect with us after a messy divorce...
Yes the hand of AA is much more than just about quitting drinking.
Tucking myself into bed with the TV and arthritis med.
Sweet dreams.....and remember

Grateful to have finally completed paying my court fees. Yesterday was the last one. 18 months of the 9.5 mile roundrip walk is over..
Its so nice to put that behind me. The other 3 dui's didnt phase me, but this last and final one did the trick.. It has been a wild 2.5 years since the day of being pulled over..
Thank you HP for never letting me hurt or kill anyone and finally "get it"....
Sleep well.

Grateful that quite a few times at work today when I felt frustration rising, that I paused, and if the factors were out of my control, I said: "This job does not decide my mood. I decide it." And I recentered.
Same thing when I feel the panic rising about the crazy workload at work over the next week with people off and holiday backing up the work. I said: "Stay in this moment, EQ." And refocused. So grateful for whatever grace is providing me with this wisdom in real time when I need it!
Before all of that would have been the cue to drink!

Great job!!
Yes, it works when we work it.EternalQ!!
Great job!!
Grateful for deciding to walk to the juvenile treatment center nearby for a committee I volunteer on. I had the Pogues to accelerate my pace and the weather was beautimous! Good choice, ez.
Also grateful for a much-improved ability to pace myself in my activities and to balance responsibilities with relaxation.
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful:
To have the "heavy lifting" associate with our move complete (now just unpacking)
To have felt good during my morning run (getting ready for Saturday 5k)
To be able to do a 5k! (kept getting injured for years but now able to do them again)
To be able to comfortably sit and be peaceful, be content, be grateful.....just be.

I'm grateful that I am off from work until Tuesday...the possibilities are ENDLESS!
I'm grateful to be sober and sane (well somewhat sane)
I'm grateful for hope and a positive attitude..because i'm sober.
I am grateful for the little things..coffee in bed, a long dog-walk in the morning without rushing around for work....leasurely grocery shopping.
so often, i race through every day for work stuff...no me time. sober or drunk it's a rat race. but not until tuesday now!
