I'm grateful that i'm ending another tough day sober
I'm grateful that I'm not a pushover...(just cos my hair is blonde doesn't mean I'm stupid)
I'm grateful that I respect myself and didn't drop the ball
I'm grateful for my real friends, my beeyootiful pets and i'm grateful that I'm angry, not curling up crying like a self-pitying fool.
i'm grateful that I will get up tomorrow AM (hopefully) and have a believe I will have a better day.

lh, yeah, I actually used to share in meetings that I believed that saying about knowledge being power. Boy, did I find out the limits of that power!!

Grateful for knowing it's okay to take care of me and back out of commitments when I need to.

And grateful for my friend whom I thought was starting to lay a guilt trip on me about backing out on her, but then turned out to be very understanding about me taking time out for me.

Grateful for 109 days! The longest I've been sober since the age of 18. And also very grateful for feeling serene, positive, happy, and so much more healthy than I did 109 days ago.

Grateful to have 9 weeks tomorrow. I tried moderation last summer and was so sad to still be drinking when school started. This year, it's a different story. I have much to do, but being sober will be an asset.

Grateful for my 197 days sober. Grateful I had fun at the movies. Grateful that I did not pre~drink for my date! That alone is a miracle. Nor were we around any alcohol. Yay!
