Grateful to finish up with another electrical wiring project. Sharing my McDouble-burger with my dogs.

EQ, Glad to hear you had someone else (although young) to be sober with.

Best wishes all & good night.

Grateful for old friends (non-recovery) who have stuck with me through it all.

Grateful for opening myself to others, and for having found strength in recognizing that there is only one way out, and is staying out.

Grateful that at a bdy party today, when someone handed me a champagne filled glass off a tray during a toast, I raised it, clinked it, and walked over to the waitstaff drink tray and put it back.

Grateful I did not mess up on my 200 days of sobriety, at midnight tonight!!

WELCOME, alienbrayn1!! Glad you're here, too.

Grateful for willingness to wash the dinner dishes (by hand) from my bro's birthday dinner as part of my gifts to him. I hate washing dishes.

Also grateful for finally taking action after my decision to go to the annual Anorexics & Bulimics Anonymous retreat and actually paying the registration fee. Now I'm getting excited about the trip!

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful to have lots of hummingbirds at the feeders and in the giant salvia today. Grateful to be sober to enjoy it and enough energy to clean the feeders and birdbath.

Grateful I got things accomplished on my "to do " list for work and enjoyed some time in my garden and an evening walk with husband and dogs.

Grateful for a nice mellow day sewing while my husband reads to me.

Grateful for the best tomato ever--and for beginning to feel better.

Grateful I was able to help my daughter deal with oral surgery this weekend.

Grateful I got a chance to go to Farmers Market today and pick up some fresh peaches, onions and a bunch of beautiful sunflowers along with some lilies.

Ooh, can you share?? teehee.

Grateful to know enough to change my plans when I had an upsetting phone conversation. I decided to go to the pool at my almost-ex-husband's place and chillax. In the past, I would have felt like I had to talk about it right then, but today I realize tomorrow is soon enough. Glad I have patience today.

And grateful for Spencer wanting to sit on my lap. Haven't had much of a lap cat in a while.

Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful to have unearthed some anger I have at someone and bring it out into the light of day to look at, rather than act out.

Grateful to realize that I can start saying no to some of these events that have alcohol served at them. Especially if I am feeling stressed out by them.
