Bedtime Gratitude-Part 31
...so, I guess I'm grateful for being able to praise myself and focus on all I'm doing and all I've done. Considering the challenges I've had, I do pretty well.
And grateful for showing some restraint in a face-to-face interaction with my dad. I wanted to "make sure" he wasn't being insensitive to his girlfriend, but I decided it would be better to send another email than risking an argument.
Love and hugs,

grateful that I got through some difficult new work today without frothing and screaming.
couldn't have done it without being sane and sober.
and grateful that I got some compliments today....(i was shocked, it's been so long)

Grateful for my daughter. Today is her bdy. Grateful I see her and Grandson tomorrow.
Grateful, that, although tonight I saw my Dad break his 9 straight months of sobriety right in front of me, I did not drink.
I drove the ninety minutes home stone sober. My nephew who is 15 and I were the only two of twelve NOT drinking at the dinner party. Grateful for him.

Oh my! Youre all so kind and supportive. I am so touched. Thank you!
Grateful playing, feeding and bathtime and booktime all went very well with Grandson. But especially grateful that when i put him down at seven he went out like a light. LOL. I tire easily with this stuff now. Fifty, is surely not twenty. :rotfxko

Grateful for knowing better now how not to take things personally.
And grateful for knowing I don't have to do everything I have to do TODAY.

Grateful for a beautiful day, time to enjoy the outdoors with my two dogs, and hear them lightly snoring near me as I am about to turn out the light. And grateful I am sober and able to enjoy this moment.
Forward we go...side by side-Rest In Peace

Grateful I did not get drawn into my daughters drama over things
she thinks happened years ago
She was drugging and drinking at the time...
ergo.... difficult to tell the difference between reality and dillusion
Grateful she lives 900 miles away from me...phone calls are
usually not pleasant....
Grateful she is now an active NA member whith a sponsor.
Sweet dreams....
