Animals We Love Grats
Got his meds for less than thirty dollars. STarted him on them right away. I am praying to put his health in God's loving hands and to instruct me in caring for him so he'll get better. The scrips are for three weeks so will take him back to the vet then for another glaucoma pressure test to see if they're helping reduce the ocular pressure. Thank you all again for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers.

very grateful that the sun is out and i can take Sammy for a nice long "dog-walk" soon....it is one of my favorite pastimes...along with a big cup of decaff hazelnut!
hopefully, if i pay enough attention to him first, we will not have a repeat "statement" on the bed tonight! grrrr.

They are all so beautiful! I am very sorry, and I can't imagine making it though such big losses in my first year. I hope that you can take comfort in the many memories I'm sure you have. It is so hard to lose such tremendous souls who give us so much happiness and unconditional love.

I am sorry you lost them in such a short span of time. That is really hard. I lost two beloved dogs in 2009, both older Rottweilers and both to bone cancer. Sucked. (Bone cancer is very common in Rottweilers.)
Blazer the little beagle mix that was hit by a car hasn't been claimed. He is doing great though, he and the foster pit bull mix pup Monster play play play together in the back yard, it is neat to see. They are both up for adoption, hint hint LOL.
least, continued prayers that the meds reduce ocular pressure for Nikko.

Seriously sorry for your loss PD. I cannot fathom that kind of testing during the first year, but my God! You made it through that and everything else is cake. They were so beautiful! You definitely know how to pick them. Do you have any companion pets today or did you say?
I am grateful to my vet for prescribing meds to help him and grateful that I could get them for him.
Nikko was just barking at Jack, tho Jack wasn't in NIkko's way at all. I had to speak sternly to Nikko and tell him to quit b!tching at Jack when Jack wasn't bothering him at all. I love to watch their interaction with each other. Like with Blazer and Monster playing together. Such fun to watch.
