Grateful for two dogs cuddled up with me last night (one had his head on the pillow next to me...114 lbs of golden retriever sleeping like a person). It was a bad evening for me and having them there during the night was comforting.

I think everyone should own a cat or at least be around them.

Have a great day all

Great book I'm reading that other dog lovers will like. Dogs never lie about love by Jeffrey M Masson. About the emotional world of dogs. Wonderful book.

I'm sorry to hear about Nikko, I pray that he gets relief soon!

I just wanted to say that I'm grateful for the hike I had yesterday with a few friends and four dogs! Here's is a picture of Riley's smile.

Good night all!

agreed!!! who needs an alarm clock when you have hungry spoiled kitties? again with the chin biting this morning promptly 3 mins. before the alarm went off...to fill the kibble dish than ran out during the night.

built-in exercise with the dog...we opened the front door this morning to see 7 deer practically within knocking distance...Sammy was so excited he almost forgot to pee....i take that first cup of morning coffee and wake up while i walk him...then came inside to see that the temps were only 24 degrees!

Got fresh beef bones today. Now Nikko is barking at the microwave as there's three bones thawing in there... and he knows it...

Little Jack makes me laugh. He's so 'bone aggressive' he'll snarl at the other dogs and even the cats if they come near him when he's got a fresh bone. He doesn't do that to me tho, not at all. This morning he ran upstairs to get a bone and had it on the bed. I put the other two bones on the floor and within a minute had all three bones on the bed! He can only chew on one at a time but likes to have them all around him. Funny Jack.

Woke up with the dogs snuggled around me - what a feeling of peace and contentment that gives me. Thank God for these dogs. They keep me sane and happy.

Cats do sometimes look like they can defy gravity, don't they?

Hey all, thank you for the nice compliments on Riley, she's turning out to be quite the sweetie.

I wanted to come back and share some pics of my other babies..

Riley and Max (Chihuahua, 2 y.o.).

Madison (Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix, 6 y.o.).

Max, all ears.

Miles (Chihuahua, 6 y.o.)

Twin brother kitties, Milo & Otis (5 y.o.)

That's my family, four dogs and two kitties and I am so happy I have them.

Least, how is Nikko doing? How is everyone else's furbabies doing?
