Bedtime Gratitude-Part 20
Grateful for Better's thirty days sober!! Feels good to feel good again, doesn't it?
Tonight I'm grateful for a quiet lazy day with the dogs. Grateful for last night's pizza for breakfast and lunch today. Grateful that living sober makes so many things possible.

Grateful for a quiet New Year's Day with leftovers... and still have leftovers for tomorrow. Suits me just fine.
Grateful to be going to bed early... will try to read, but will probably end up falling asleep. Just tired tonight!
Grateful to enjoy being sober and all the rewards that go with it.

- 30 days..way to go BL4M!!!!!
- So happy and grateful I did not wake up in jail this morning. DUI quota went sky high last night!
- Grateful for an email I got from my old friend Teresa. She has been sober for over 10 yrs and is extactic for my sobriety. We are going to start walking when it gets nice out again. You may all clap..I HAVE A SOBER FRIEND! That has been the hardest thing. I sober up..good deal..but then I realize I have been surrounding myself with drunk friends. I had to disassociate and now other sober people are coming back into my life. Grateful for that part too!
- Sleep well everyone.
Way to go on the 30 days BL4M... it is great to feel good again!
MCB, that is wonderful to fine a sober friend and someone to enjoy walking with... I know most of the people I associate with drink and I have laid very low and not socialized, it is fine with me. I do what I have to do for my recovery. I am going to get out more in 2011 and I am sure I will find some sober friends.

Grateful for a productive day... cleaning clothes closets and a few cupboards. Now to relax... and get everyone in bed early... school and work day. Looking forward to a routine of some sort.
Grateful to be sober!

Grateful for my last day off before we begin the work week. I stayed in my jammers all until 4:00pm...showered ..got on makeup. Now it is almost 6pm and I will soon get ready for bed again. Cooter logic!
Night all..sleep tight.

Tonight I am grateful
- For a great parking spot at the very busy Target store today
- For finding a great pair of pants on the clearance rack that fit even though I feel a bit "fluffy" from all my Christmas indulgences
- That I am starting a brand new year SOBER
- For all the great folks on SR
Grateful that my brain/head is no longer fuzzy! I can actually concentrate on something for more than 15 mins without getting bored or losing interest! It's a miracle!
Grateful for all my many blessings.
Grateful to be happily sober tonight.

Grateful that tin man's post above says what it says and that I saw it coming here just now-- it is a thought that is good for me to think about too.
Grateful that I am seeing my life more clearly now that I'm sober, even when this is painful. Grateful for my family's generosity, grateful for employment, grateful for my warm bed, grateful for my boyfriend's ability to patiently listen. Grateful that something in my tiny recovering brain told me to to focus on gratitude right now--'feeling better than I was 10 minutes ago!

Grateful today for family and that I was able to cook for 10 people. Grateful that I'm not trying to get out of activities and events anymore (even though I still love sitting in my bed with my laptop). Always grateful for a nice warm bed (and a little bit of sugar).....
