Welcome to everyone new who's posting on the BG thread, I'm grateful you're here with us in recovery!

Grateful for lots of projects this weekend. Planting roses, more decorating to be done on my daughter's room, hanging shelves, yardwork, etc.

Oh, and I'm grateful for the steak that's marinating in the fridge, it'll make for a yummy dinner tonight!

Grateful that Astro is sharing his steak dinner with us since we're neighbors (kind of).

Grateful for the brats that are not marinating and are for dinner tonight. My dinner, not too healthy.

gratful i got to see my bud that was released from the slammer tonight...

my, what he shared was so awesome...

and i know he wouldn't mind...

he said that today, he worked so hard, and was never so grateful to work on a saturday...

as being in jail, has opened his eyes to a lot of things...

all the sickness in there, and he managed to learn how to give of himself, and give his love to the others...

now that he has made one hell of a amends, he see so much ahead!

Another fine day - morning prayers for strength & serenity granted and accepted.

Made it to my afternoon meeting today - a good discussion about our past being our greatest asset.

Grateful to be content.

Cake, pizza, presents, laughter, water-balloons (!)...

My son's 8th birthday party!

Tons of kids, family, & friends over...it was a blast!

And a beautiful sunny day to top it off!

I'm very grateful.

I am grateful for friends and family
and the friends who have become family
I am grateful I can pay my bills today
and that I want to learn to be my own best friend.
I am learning slowly .. maybe thats the best way LOL
