Im sitting here in the parking lot
Of the college. Oh my God I'm so ******* overwhelmed right now. Sent him a text confirming my resolve to separate. Told him we needed to talk to the kids this weekend and that this was the real deal. He said ok.
I just want to bawl...im in tears for sure. I just can't go into this building! But its test day. I have no choice.
please give me some support right now. I need something funny or something to lighten the mood. Please, I am just dying over here

Kidding. You CAN do this. I have HAD to do this. Put your emotions on hold, it's just a few hours & then you can let the floodgates open.
Take 3 long, deep, centering breaths. It will help "reset" your brain & nervous system to a calmer, more controlled state.

Even tho i don't know your story, my kitty and I are rooting for you, too! Take some deep breaths and push them out through your mouth. Breathing helps signal to the body that we are safe.
Find somewhere where you can stretch your arms up toward the sky nice and wide like the Y movement in the YMCA song that those guys do. You know the one?? :-) This helps bring confidence into our body. Can be done in the bathroom, too.
You're on the verge of so much greatness in your life. You can do hard things! And you can take this test! You go, girl!

A little story as to how I got through some things. Hi, My name is Ann Marie, but I am amy here, and jynx in other forums. Well Ann Marie didnt know how to deal with things, so she signed into forums as amy to ask questions about what she is doing wrong. Ann Marie and amy just sat around doing nothing but researching. Well that wasn't working. Then jynx came along. Jynx looked at the information that was gathered and said to Ann Marie and amy,.... so you got all of this information and you are still sitting around, doing nothing about it, but researching some more. Then Jynx said, I think it's time for us to get off our azz and do something about it.
So, I don't know if that makes any sense to you, but I always sent Jynx in to fix things till I was OK to do it myself.
Now you send in freetosmile to take care of things for you. Gotta tell you, freetosmile is pretty d@mn awesome

truly think you have made the wisest choice to move forward.
