Hi Dear Ones-
I am doing okay. It's very late and I have an appointment tomorrow
with a woman from the funeral home. She's going to help me to apply for any pensions, etc and cancel Robby's ******** and other id so it can't be stolen.
My mother is here from Boston and my eldest son is here from Florida. They leave this weekend. I will be writing a more lengthy post or posts at that point. Just know that I am being loved and fed and taken care of and that I miss you all and read your posts before I go to sleep at night.
And, yes, I think almost every boyfriend I had in high school tried to win me over with the Allman Bros. "Melissa"! Hahahaha!

Well, that's odd: I typed the word pass port above and it **** ed it out like it was a dirty word!

These must be such tough days for you, Melissa. Massive hugs to you.
Funeral homes (and the funeral industry) sort of seem synonymous with commerce at a time of great loss. The funeral director who handled my Dad's situation was a godsend on so many fronts -- there's a lot of paperwork and uncharted territory -- even though we relied upon him for little since my father's remains were donated to medical research. I'm glad to know you've got a good advocate there for the difficult details.
