You're doing really well, intro! Congrats on 128 days! You've successfully pushed through when you've wanted to drink and that's awesome. Sugar makes me shaky, the way coffee used to. It's a terrible feeling and I emphasize with you. Hang in there, it does get better and better. (( Hugs ))

I guess I cope as well as I can....Some things work, and some not as much....bottom line, the anxiety eventually subsides....

Yawning......It gets out of control when I feel I yawn for no reason......Triggers the anxiety.....sigh

I guess I need to fix that....easier said than done ......

Hi Winslow!

I'm okay.... Just been keepin busy and enjoying better health thru sobriety....

There are times though that the temptations do come....That nice day for a bbq and watching the baseball game makes it tough, but its very easy to resist that 'cold one'.

Nonetheless, by the next day, I look back and realize I'm glad I did.

Anyway, still here.... just trying to keep in good health.

Thanks fo caring!

Good Morning!

Haven't given much thought to this, 'Cinco De Mayo' day today, but in the past, it was just another excuse to drink.....

My only plans today are to continue in sobriety and giving every opportunity to stay anxiety free.

Cinco De Mayo is a good day to enjoy some Hispanic food and a non-alcoholic drink!

How long before anxiety ultimately loses its grip on a person?

I think the answers different for all of us Intro. My anxiety's the best it's ever been- but I still have flare ups from time to time.

I'll take it, tho

I think that's up to me, Intro. It all depends on how much I want to work on my recovery and focus on the good in my life rather than the issues that are causing my anxiety.

In spite of how good I've been feeling the last several weeks, anxiety has a way of stepping in out of nowhere and putting me in check......Like a reality check.
