Blind Willie picked up, and I got down to business, talking quick. "Listen Willie - I need help. I'm tailing heat, wearing ladies pajamies, and I've got me a borrowed T-bird and a ham sandwich."
"Sounds like you got it all worked out," Blind Willie drawled. "What do you want from me." I glanced out toward the gravel parking lot, where a pair of cruisers were pulling in and another blocked the exit.
"Not much Willie, just lawyers, guns and money." I dropped the phone, grabbed Flo's keys, and headed for the door...

............As the gas guage was quickly disapeering I knew I had to do something fast I reached into my pocket to pull out my last 10 dollars and realized it was A ONE!!! Just my luck.....
So quickly I explained the situation to the bleary-eye Gloria. "Look, I'm not having a very good day. I'm running from the heat, wearing ladies pajamas and I'll I've got is this borrowed T-bird, a ham sandwich and a lousey one dollar bill. Can you help me?"
I could tell that she was stuggling to follow what I was saying by the way she was looking at me, blinking and confused.
