Dragon, my sister in law works for a large financial company, and they do roll outs over the weekend to see what problems crop up ahead of the week day crush. Glad it went reasonably well.
Aly, I am not sure whether to be happy or not that your mother might be released. I hope they keep her until she is ready to handle life outside the hospital.

We had a great, rainy storm last night, but it is drying up now and looking to be a beautiful day, except a bit chilly out.
I guess my mom won't be coming home until probably early next week, I think. You never know at that place. It gives me a little more time to get things ready for my mom without being frantic. I especially want to get some grocery, etc. shopping done so there are the things she likes here when she gets home. In a lot of ways it will be so great to have her home, but I'm kind of scared she'll fall or hurt herself again. I can do the best I can and then I need to Let Go and Let God.
So glad for all of you here. Love these posts! I learn a lot from your posts, Dragon, I love your info on the Uke! I used to sing in a band and I love all the interesting music you bring. Sao, you always have great trivia, or just facts I didn't know. All the VW contributors and wonderful love, peace, great advice, and support here for all of you and I appreciate every single one of you.

Aly, good luck getting everything ready for your Mom. Take it one day at a time. Do you need to do some family training with the therapists to see what their recommendations are? Is there a need for a home evaluation where a therapist and your Mom go to her house to see how she moves in her own environment? I have done several prior to patients going home that way the family knows what if any equipment they may need, if they are able to negotiate obstacles within their home if using a walker or w/c, can they get in/out of their own bed, manage in the kitchen, safety issues such as throw rugs ..etc? Granted I do not know how your Mom is doing so sorry If I am being out of line.
