Morning Gratitude ~ Part 45
Grateful for the understanding that if you keep doing the "right" thing, self confidence and pride will return.
Grateful that I have a glimpse of self confidence building back in me, even a little nonchalance.
Grateful for Gladi's ....gives me hope

Grateful to greet October with a smile and an early-morning jog
Grateful that a healthy meal has been bubbling in the slow cooker for nearly four hours. It smells delicious!
Grateful to be sharing this day with my partner xxx

((((Julie59)))) Thank you for your kind words.
Grateful for sticking with my 30 day health challenge and it's result!
Grateful that I saved enough money from not drinking to buy a new awesome mountain bike (on sale half price ).
Grateful that I have the energy to ride it after work.

Grateful to wake up this morning feeling better than yesterday, albeit with still a mild headache this morning.
Grateful to hear that Gladiolus saved up enough money for a mountain bike. Good for you!
Grateful it is fall, my favorite time of year.
Grateful, as always, to my beloved pets for loving me even when I don't.
And grateful to be here.

Grateful for the oldtimers like Light Case Ed, Sandy Beach, Jim Akin, Reds Fanning, Buck Doyle, Chuck Costollo et al who brought humor to recovery in AA meetings.
I can use their names now cause they are all together on the other side of the rainbow bridge.
I remember when the lights went out in our AA meeting that Light case yelled, "Ray, get your hand off my leg." He was 92 when he crossed the bridge sober.
((((((Marcher13)))))) laughing out loud in Oz brings a warm smile to an old man who sees Women in recovery as lovely young girls like the Daughters God blessed me with.
Recovery is some pain but a lot of love and laughter, thanks to a power greater than us.
