Morning Gratitude ~ Part 45
the kindom of God is in my heart
Grateful to be living in recovery this morning which means feeling the love of God in my heart, and the love I feel right now with his blessings all around me.
Grateful for the gift of recovery that I have enjoyed for 28 years 6 months and 8 days, and I am counting because this alcoholic is a living and breathing miracle today.
Grateful to be receiving love from the spiritual beings whose human experience was a part of mine, and still is as I hear from them when my heart takes over from the illness/evil in my brain.
Recovery, "that's the miracle of it, it just happens."

Grateful for discernment, strength, and willpower.
Grateful for a clear [sober] head.
Grateful for my family... Their support and overall presence in my life.
Grateful for another day to get it right.

Grateful for being sober 14 days today (one day at a time); grateful that my life is opening up to positive and exciting things (which in my mind tells me I'm on the right track, i.e. am where my God wants me to be); grateful for a very understanding hubby; grateful for a wonderful, non-judgment doctor who "admires" me for what I'm doing and told me I'm "amazing" (one day I will REALLY believe that); grateful for being happy most of my sober days, happier than I've been in a very, very long time....

Grateful for morning coffee and tea.
Grateful for my awesome husband... I told him he was pretty awesome today and he asked me if the dog was typing (text msg)
Grateful for my sobriety today.
Grateful I can think a few steps ahead and not get overwhelmed.
