I am grateful for being able to relax, turn in early if I want to and grateful I'm sober.

Grateful for a friend stopping by this evening, and a quick stop turning into 2-1/2 hours of great conversation. Timing was perfect. Made for the good day I wanted it to turn into.

Grateful that I heard "life's been good to me so far" today and realized I have it better then others. Grateful some of the others I'm speaking of are here with us. And grateful I'm sticking with my self commitment to post here and join in the conversation each day.

Grateful to have met up with a wise friend today.

Grateful to have bought a book to read when I'm away on holiday in a week's time, just need to hide it from myself so I don't read it before my holiday starts.

Grateful for a quiet evening and possibly an early night.

today I am grateful to have spent another day sober, with the opportunity to carry on this way and build my life back and not have to ever go back to drink. I am also grateful for my family as always. I am grateful that I can relax tonight with a clear mind and enjoy some music, tv, games. I am grateful that when I wake up in the morning I will be sober and will have the chance to enjoy some time with my little nephews. I am grateful for this forum and all of you that are also in recovery.

Grateful for finding this forum 3 days ago in desperation.

Grateful for having the strength and will-power for the first time in my life to be 3 days sober.

Grateful for being able to put my daughters to bed and feel that I can be the positive role model that they need to become amazing woman and fullfill the potential that my dependency destroyed in me.

Night all.

Grateful today for sprinkly rain - the kind you walk in anyway. It makes that rain-on-tent-sound when my hood is up on my jacket.

Grateful for my eyesight.

Grateful for the stream and the rock where I did my meditation today. What a lovely song it made.

Grateful today for the courage to attend my first AA meeting. Everyone welcomed me with open arms and helped me understand that I'm not alone or unique in this struggle.
