Early Riser Check-in Thread Part 14

Woke up around 3:00 AM
At least I’m off the sleeping in routine today and awake. The whole day seems off kilter without an early morning wake up.
Cooler with freezing fog alert. Only wind gusts of 30mph this afternoon. A lot better than 60mph! DIL did yard work yesterday so that is taken care of. 60 degree high forecast during the week. Bonkers climate.
CK hope your neighbor is gone soon and I’ll send my sleeping in mojo your way.

Having pleasant dream but left tablet running all night and woke up to Netflix. Electronics and sleep really don’t mix well.
Still doing store pickup so that’s my big trip today along with bank run. I miss the big world so I say until I’m out in it. It gets monotonous but necessary. Bird food in the grocery run also. Gotta feed the critters.
A good Monday to all.

Imvalentine, it is amazing how my whole family has gotten sucked into the wildlife drama. The squirrel acrobatics, birds darting in and out of the feeders, chipmunks, deer and whatnot provide endless moments of entertainment. Looking out the window is definitely safer than going to a restaurant.
Up at 4:00 am though off today.

I hit snooze instead of off and would be wasting away my morning if not.
It is a perfect one for feeding, hearing and watching the critters start their day. It’s a great stress relief and family activity. I’ve been feeding them for 4 years now and am very lucky and blessed to have their company. They give a lot more than I give them!
One appointment scheduled and continuing a massive clothing, shoe and junk purge from my bedroom and closet.
A better than tolerable Tuesday to all.

Up and around a few minutes before 5:00 AM
Yesterday was mid 60’s with no wind and wonderful. Today our winter season starts for real. Breezy snow and cold wind coming to stick around.
Taking friend out briefly and resuming clutter purge. I accumulate and hang on to things I will never use or wear.
I wonder what I was thinking when I bought it. I attach memories to things!

Can't believe you are getting snow already Imvalentine! I'm certainly not ready for that.
I always try staying up late and sleeping in later on my Mondays since I close the store next couple days. It would not do me well getting up at 3:00am.
Filled the feeders, waiting for the wildlife to find the new seed. Usually takes no more than five or ten minutes.

Up before 6:00 AM. Back under the blankets now.
Yes it was quite a switch from last week’s weather. High of 36 today and snow removal service did a good job.
Obviously have no big plans. Shoveling a path out back to the critters feeding area and stew in the crockpot.
