Up and about at 6:20ish. Stayed up late but slept well enough.

Another darn day of wind but only 55mph gusts. Wednesday’s worst was officially 105mph. It went to pharmacy yesterday and could hardly walk in the stuff. This is the least populated state for a reason.

ck my user name is my oldest Gson’s initials and last name. It is easy to remember!

Happy Friday all.

CK, down here we have the Super Bowl, even if no one can go to the game.

Long night at work, had six call outs which made things "interesting."

Have a good day all!

The bathroom alarm routine about 2:30 and stayed up. I think it is just wanting alone time when I’m frustrated with situations. Something like that anyway. I’ve been on SR the whole time so it wasn’t a loss at all.
Nothing planned so I can take a rest now or later.

We have a break today with only 40mph gusts forecast.

Have a great Saturday all.

Spent my big 60th at work, doing interviews, writing a schedule and trying to keep our Covid struck store running another day. Certainly not how I anticipated this day would have gone five or ten years ago. At least I did it sober.

Up early at 2:30 for work.

Have a good day all!

Yes CK, it was my 60th. To think that it would be spent entirely sober and very quietly was unthinkable not many years back. With Covid, I couldn't even have a dinner with any friends besides family. Grateful to wake up hangover free each day and to still be able to work at a high level despite my age. I know I could not be doing that today if I was still drinking.

One more early day then a couple days off. Going to get a jump on payroll before heading into work.

Have a good day all!

Your birthday is on January 16?
60 years old is young for a tree

Up at 4:30 - ready to start working again.
Glad I can work from home, we had a severe snow storm Saturday (25 cm) and I won't need to move my car from its hole.

Have a good day Earlies

star I have proclaimed 60 is not old because I’m 60 also. I never thought about aging in my younger days when partying was “fun” and then became day to day misery. I know a lot of dead people unfortunately. We are blessed to still be breathing.

Nothing going on today except DIL’s mother is picking up her printer... She has sadly taken off from them again on a bender and so it goes.

Sprucing up and house cleaning today.

Hope you get the emails cleared out ck.

A good Monday to all.

There was a point in my early twenties where I presumed that I wouldn't make it to 60 because of my love of partying. My liver probably would have given up by now if I hadn't stopped.

CK, I imagine Montreal is pretty much snow locked all winter long. I seem to remember underground shops in Montreal? Or was that Toronto?

Went to bed at eight last night and got a decent night's sleep despite being up once or twice.

Have a good day all!

I had a strange partying dream. It was the anxiety...after the fun ran out. A good subconscious reminder of the aftermath.

There was no wind yesterday and none forecast today. I even opened the windows for fresh cold air. I think I have SAD and hateful wind disorder like everyone else in this state.

Stay well and have a good Tuesday all.

I think it is natural to have partying dreams as we spent most of our lives doing so. I still have random dreams where I am in a bar, but I don't think I ever drink in my dreams.

CK, Happy Birthday!!

Have a good day all!

7:30ish. A late riser.

Happy Birthday ck! Glad you survived and enjoyed your food overindulgence.

The dreaded wind is back but it is a good day.

Take care all.

Good and productive days off, shopping, doing lots of laundry and naturally watching the proceedings.

Have a good day all!

It is a good feeling to have a productive day star. I have had more energy since home situation has calmed down myself. Yoga studio has reopened and I busted out and went to a kundalini class last night. It was blissful but man am I out of shape.

I also watched the proceedings yesterday. What a difference a day makes!

Stay well and have a good Thursday all.

Up at 4:30, last day of the week at work.

I'm getting depressed these days by the pandemic...
I find that things don't move fast enough, in fact that they don't move at all.
They will vaccinate 100 million persons in the USA in 100 days while Pfizer won't ship any vaccines at all to Canada until February.
How long will it take until this nightmare ends, I don't know...but I know it's a good thing I go through this sober

Thank you for letting me vent my frustration this morning - have a good weekend Earlies ☼

I would be surprised if we actually hit those numbers CK, but at least we now have a government that is trying to do something. No vaccines have made it to Canada yet? This country lost 100,000 people in five weeks and anticipate losing another 100,000 in the next month. Yet, there is not universal outrage by everyone. Many here would rather die than be told what to do, and you can't engage them in meaningful dialogue. I see myself continuing to wear a mask probably throughout the year.

I too am thankful I am doing this sober. I can't imagine going through this as a drunk.

Have a good day all!
