Valentine, I played hookey last night. Didn't go to what is essentially a women's meeting---only because men rarely show up. Hopefully I'll keep my commitment to be there next week!

Wife's alarm going off and constantly snoozed for 45 minutes starting at 4:15. Decided sleep was futile and got up at 5:00. Coffee and then a quick ride on the exercise bike before work.

Good morning!

Up at 0410, now 0619. Today is the 76th anniversary of Pearl Harbor attack. We have a moving ceremony at 9a of which I have a small part (refreshments).

Two annual events at work this week has me a little worn out. Thankfully I slept well last night. Really looking forward to rest this weekend.

Last night I fell getting into bed and twisted my right knee and foot pretty bad. The pain woke me up at 3 am. I can hardly walk.

More snow this early morning. Cat was out since yesterday afternoon...called her in just now. She came running in and I picked her up...she was warm and dry! I was tempted to follow her tiny little paw prints in the fresh snow to find her obviously cozy little hiding place!!!

A great weekend you all had--except for least's hurt ankle.

My kitty Ringo hasn't been outside since getting rescued at 3 weeks old in late August 2001. Totally pampered little guy. We've been together longer than my husband and I!
