My little dog woke me up at 4 am again. But I managed to get back to sleep for a couple more hours. I don't mind so much cause I always feel good when I wake up, even if it's early.

Would love to join you folks. I have my alarm set for 4am tomorrow (I work on a farm.) I haven't gotten into the swing of a solid morning routine for sobriety but maybe tomorrow should be a start.

I am sorry for the loss of your father Mountainmanbob.
It is wonderful he had the peace and serenity of sobriety.
I treasure my sobriety. Last Christmas Eve I had been sober 8 days after a hospital visit. I bought 4 pints of vodka to last through Christmas Day.
Once I started you know how that went! I have 2 flashes of memory
from that day. I drank it straight in front of my granddaughter I was told.
What a sick desperate time.
Please God never again.
It is wonderful he had the peace and serenity of sobriety.

3:10 AM and I think that I'm awake for the upcoming sober day ?
I don't know -- the couch looks pretty inviting.
Maybe a slight snooze after a cup of decaf and some computer time ?

Woke up at 4:04.
Monday's work is always double but today will be triple work.
I'm hoping it goes smoothly and I will ask for help if needed.
Grateful I made it through the holiday weekend sober. It was rough emotionally.
I will be saying the serenity prayer a lot today!

I first woke around 3:45 then dozed on and off until 6. Not at all unusual.
Had a wonderful Christmas weekend - actually a wonderful few weeks.
Having coffee and planning my day. Most of my larger clients have shut down for the week so it's sort of a mini vacation until the new year. I'll take it.
I will probably go to a morning meeting, hit the bank, do some billing and clean the kitchen. If I play my cards right I may even work in a nap.
Life is good.

A busy day ahead. Work, home group meeting at noon. Then store
And chiropractor. There is a BB meeting at 7:30 I'd like to check out
but I usually go to bed at 8:00. Nice to not plan activities around drinking.
