24 Hour No Nicotine/No Smoking Club ~ Part 13
Hello everyone! I'm not a smoker, and for sure not here to judge - I am afterall an alcoholic! But tomorrow is my moms birthday. She passed away almost 3 years ago from lung cancer. She tried to quit so many times - just wanted to give some love to all of you fighting this other monkey on your back. Never stop trying! I miss my mom everyday. 💖💖💖
Thanks Donny - I'm really sorry to hear about your mum.
I'm back from a wonderful, smoke-free camping trip. I would like to say that not smoking was easy, but it wasn't - cravings galore, but no smokes with me and hence no smoking.
Back home and committing to not smoking today.

I'm in for another 24 hours of not smoking.
Day 17 and still finding this hard, but it is so worth persevering - health, money, social stigma, etc. It seems that most people that stick with it long enough no longer miss smoking - so I am confident that it will get easier one day.

Day 20 here - and would appreciate another 24 hours.
I gave in on day 23 last time I quit smoking. This time I want it to work forever. I think the Champix I am taking is helping this time around, so becoming a true ex-smoker is definitely in my reach.
Keep going strong Stronger!
Thanks for continuing to check in on us Libby .

Its my pleasure Coz! You are doing great.. You seem to be having an easier go of it this time. The other times were just practice for the real deal. I had lots of practice quits too. I'm glad you are looking at a forever time line..that's progress!
Be proud of yourself!

Thanks Libby. Yes, I think the Champix is a real help. It's still not easy, but the added little dopamine fix and slightly reduced cravings that Champix provides will hopefully get me to the point where I feel more confident in being an ex-smoker.
I'm three weeks nicotine free today
Another 24 hours for me please.

Congrats Stronger. You are doing so well!
Day 25 without smoking for me. I have got past my last 23 day record and very happy about that. One month is not too far away, so more one day at a time. Another 24 hours for me.
