24 Hour No Nicotine/No Smoking Club ~ Part 13
Good going Stronger!
I've made it past the one month milestone and doing OK. It is starting to get easier at last! I'm still on the Champix for another couple of weeks - then I will be on my own. For now - another 24 coming up.
Thanks for checking in Libby

Libby - 500 days🥳
I had fifty days this week and I’m pleased with my progress so far. I always gave myself permission to start smoking again if I needed to when I quit drinking a few years ago. Different mindset this time. Wish me luck!

Thanks Stronger. 50 days is a big deal! When I quit, I told myself "I'm just not going to smoke today" and left it open to vaping if I felt I had to, but thankfully I never did. By day 50, I didn't dare. It was my easiest quit (by easy I mean not as hard as before lol) and I don't wanna ever quit again. Great job!
Stronger - I think you can safely call yourself an ex-smoker now. Well done.
Libby - good thought there. Quitting is really hard. I'm over the worst, so don't ever want to have to start again.
6 weeks today and another 24 hours please.

Grateful I've quit smoking 4 years ago today,
My last cigarette was on Sunday December 4th 2016 at 2 pm in my car.
Can't forget that moment, never thought I could make it but I did it, one day at a time.
I keep a little file of my daily saving : 8,330$ so far...crazy hey?
Congrats to you Coz on reaching your freedom at 100% today, leaving all medical aids from here

Congrats CK
Four years of clean air - I bet your lungs and all your other organs are loving it! I so look forward to the day that I can walk up a hill without puffing and panting for another half an hour.
In the mean time - another 24 hours for me please.

Back here to report in at 2 months and 2 days nicotine-free
I've had quite a few moments of really wanting a smoke, but I switch my thinking to enjoying the feel of breathing in clean air and wondering why I'd really want to breathe in smoke - it doesn't taste nice, it's not good for me, and it makes me smell yuck.
So I'd really like another 24 please.

Good for you Coz. Two months is a big deal. I remember being amazed at how clean I felt. No stinky clothes, fingers,or breath. It is a great feeling. I always felt "dirty" when I smoked and had such admiration for those who had quit. Now WE are THOSE people. Yay us!
