24 more for me. I love being smoke free.
The other day I was around an older smoker who was coughing like crazy and mentioned how he had been sick. I remember when I was a smoker and I would get a cold, it would take FOREVER to go away and my cough was terrible. And I'd be outside smoking through it all.
Now, I get sick much more rarely, I never get those horrible coughs anymore and I feel so much better. I felt bad for the guy. I knew it wouldn't help to say something about his smoking because I know how that denial is. Of course he thinks he's coughing from some illness and doesn't want to think cigarettes could contribute to it.

well Peace, I was buying chocolate in bulk not too long ago - why I gained ten pounds+
The first two weeks of no nicotine I was eating chocolate by the handful.
Last night I told wife that I really wanted some cup cakes - something I rarely if ever eat. She told me to just go get some - she is very happy that I gave up nicotine, not pleased about my belly though. I was hoping to be down to 185 by spring. If I get to 195 I'll be alright. Need to tone up. Nursing a bad shoulder and knee...

DG true about the denial. My bio mom is a chain smoker and suffers thru bronchitis but I have given up mentioning the cigs. *Sigh*
