Good morning everyone!
After several days of gorgeous weather I woke up to fog (as thick as pea soup, as we say in Norway). Doesn't matter to me, I've got sunshine on the inside. On November 6, precisely six months ago, I went to rehab, and I haven't had a drop of alcohol since.
I hope everyone is doing well.

Good morning. Day 6. Dreamed the same dream as last night. My Irish oral exam was in a few days and I wasn't prepared. School was sixteen years ago ffs. Just had my coffee at 130am because lately my dreams just continue when I go back to sleep.
Need to go to AA today. I'll have drinking money tomorrow so need to work on my recovery today. Maybe I'll do NA too since eight days ago I had two drug induced seizures, so I think that qualifies me for NA even though my illegal drug abuse was a long time ago.
I have to go for bloods today, so need to take it easy with the water this morning. I mostly have been. The naltrexone does kinda dampen the joy of drinking lots of water, strangely enough.

My attempts at omelettes typically just end up a pile of ingredients and scrambled eggs, lol. I just sautéed mushroom, added beaten eggs and topped with Swiss cheese. I want another one!

Morning all
FF-maybe you're overthinking what qualifies someone for AA/NA. No one is at the door asking your history and deciding whether you can go in or not. Maybe it's you trying to talk you out of going and working on your recovery.
Sounds a great day Sal and very similar to mine
CH -I love omelettes and use exactly those ingredients too Though my hens were eaten by Mr Fox 3 weeks ago so that was very sad
Hi Steely, Bd, Dee and everyone else
Feeling good today. The last 2 mornings I've woken with a migraine like headache but not realise it was due to staying up late as it was the weekend (no I'm not in my 20s ) Made me realise just how important a good sleep routine is in sobriety. Back to work today. Busy yet only 3 day week. Feeling positive. Hope everyone has a great day x

Day 1. I'm so hungover I didn't go to work today and I have been contemplating calling the ambulance as I keep vomiting blood and what looks like chunks of tripe. I can't even sip water as it induces vomiting. I have tried to quit before but always fall back into old habits due to my friendship group. So today I deleted all my social media and swapped phone numbers and deactivated my old number. I also blocked everyone on my new number then deleted all records of their numbers. I also deactivated my email account. I have contacted AA and will attend my first meeting tomorrow night. My partner is also an alcoholic and he is currently drinking wine while I nurse a bucket in bed
Yesterday I drank 10 750ml bottles of 6.8% beer. I need to stop now!

Unfortunately it's a normal daily amount. All my friends and my partner drink this much too. That's why I know to quit I need to remove those people from my life. My partner is on his 4th bottle of wine for tonight at the moment. Lucky he doesn't drink beer and I can't stand wine so no temptation there.
