Congrats dogone on your sober weekend! Congrats Peke on triple digits!! That is awesome!

I am closing out my weekend sober It was challenging at times but I am grateful to finish up another sober weekend! I was on SR for hours everyday which really helped.

I will catch you all next Friday for another sober weekend together. Take care everyone!

Billie and I went for three walks today, about a mile distance. I'm sure she'll have lost some weight next time I take her to the vet to be weighed.

Peke, congrats on 100 days sober!!

This is great BD! You got through a challenging, habitual drinking situation SOBER!

Let's keep going; we can do this together!

Hi Least, I hope all is well with you. Thinking of you and sending prayers. I hope things are getting better for you.
Grateful to have gotten through the weekend sober, although I thought about alcohol once and then it dropped out of my head. I'm so glad I could just look away and get on to something else.
Congratulations to all the milestones.
Have a great day all!

Peke, how did bike club go? Only if you feel like answering. Sounds like you got a lot of exercise!

Thirty plus miles, Aly (we normally do 26). But I was feeling extra peppy. Thanks for asking.

I had a horrible drinking dream last night. Still can’t shake it.

Hodd--congrats on the tri! I remember that "dead leg" feeling(from biking to running) all too well.

Thanks all. As with a lot of triathletes, I got the bug and was about to sign up to an event next weekend. Then i saw it was £90! Plenty of events coming up which are way better value.

Oh and two people overtook me on the bike! It’s hard to describe, but I wasn’t happy 🤣 But I did overtake a few people too. Sounds childish, but that’s always a great feeling. It’s all good natured, but everyone gets competitive 👍🙂

Had a horrible night last night. Barely slept, the strained muscle in my chest was hurting and I was itching badly. Was up for hours, then finally fell asleep about 5 am. Slept late and woke up after noon. Nurse came and changed the dressing and said I did a good job changing it myself yesterday.

Took Billie for a walk and about to take her for another walk.

listae, it takes time to heal from the booze. I experienced anxieties for a while after stopping drinking, then again I’d drank for many years. Our minds and bodies go through a lot of changes once we stop drinking/drugs. If the anxieties get too much it may be worth a visit to see your doctor.
