I bought a grey one the other day. It took me half an hour to get it on but I didn't like it, it looked like a sofa with a cover on it. I took it back.

I can understand that. Good luck with selling it.

I like the sofa, too, Kaily. Is there another spot in your home for it?

Nice to see you here, Chancellor and Worried.

, FRIENDS. HEALTH, HAPPINESS AND JOY IN THE NEW YEAR.

Pledging for today. Day 90. Best wishes for a peaceful, serene and sober NYE to all.

Alpine. Thanks for your support. That is a lot of raking. Hope you are not too sore.

Kaily, what color of grey was the sofa cover; greys can be difficult to coordinate/blend from a design perspective; generally, the deeper/darker the grey (or even black) the easier it is to incorporate with other greys. The other idea might be to pick another color altogether to bring out a color in some artwork (hanging artwork or even a vase) that is in the room.

The sofa looks to be in good shape with nice construction/design so a nice cover may buy a few more years of use.

The pain in my feet woke me up again. Going back to bed shortly to try to get to sleep.

Thanks everyone. Leigh I am not very colour coordinated - it's like fifty shades of grey here

Well the lady liked it and left a deposit. My concern is she is quite a big lady and tall, I think the sofa is too small for her. I even told her it wasn't very comfortable, trying to put her off. I just don't think it is the sofa for her and she was so nice but she was adamant.

Happy New Year weekenders!

I'm going to walk down to the Walgreens on the corner to see if they have any Senna since Safeway didn't have any. It's raining pretty hard right now so might wait to see if it stops.

I was thinking maybe I might get to go to ck and son in law's tonight for NYE but it's raining pretty hard and I'm not walking four blocks in the rain so probably will just stay home.

Kaily, I like that couch.

We brought a few kitchen boxes over to the house I started to figure out where I wanted to put things. I told Mr. A once we get in and I start working in the kitchen I may move things around. He said nope..in a jokingly manner...You only get one chance..lol. I told him "lots of luck, if you still want me to cook for you" Mr A reprogrammed the key pad to the garage door and did some other miscellaneous things. No ceiling painting yet, he had to pick up a good light in order to see.

Alpine. Good luck with the new home. Just went through that last year. Downsized and had lots of cosmetic improvements to do as well as cleaning up after the neglectful previous owner. Now it’s getting to feel like home. Best wishes to you and Mr A.

Angry

I just opened a second maintenance request because the huge Christmas tree jammed into the trash room on the first floor is still there and taking up the whole room, you can't get in to dump your trash! I included in the request the apt number where the trail of pine needles started and I hope they fine the person who did this or evict them. How stupid and selfish can you be?
