Yes, some very good points. Alcohol Explained, the book, is very good at explaining the cycle of alcohol ingestion scientifically in layman’s terms.
I wish I had the recipe that will work for you, but we are all so different.
I became less obsessed the longer the time between ‘now’ and my last ingestion of poison. The last time it happened, I was at about five months. I wrote a thread titled “It Finally Happened to Me”. I must say, it’s a good read.

You can do it, BTG. I'm already wrapping up Day 6 from my last slip and feeling better already. Quality sleep was back last night and I expect it will be again tonight.
It was a b*tch for the first few days but it is so worth it. I know how badly you want it. You will get there if you do whatever you have to.
