It was a 15 bunny walk this morning. It's been pretty hot so I'm walking at 6AM. There is an abundance of wildlife before so many people and dogs are out. Good for the soul, truly.

Hundreds of birds from the bald eagle that flew up from the river at 20 feet off the deck just 50 feet in front of me down to the tiniest wren - they all seem to be happy with the early mornings too.

Good morning, I love bird watching Bim!! I have an Audubon society field guide to North American birds and in the back of it I have written down every bird I have ever seen for years. The list is getting pretty long!!

Beautiful pic of the wren, Bim, must’ve been a lovely sight early on.

Kaily, hope all went well with your steroid injection.

#MeToo.

That is not my image above...but I see so many little wrens and they are so easily overlooked. Down in the low bushes, just going about their camouflaged lives.

Kaily, hope your injection went well. I have to have a lot of them too, in my head and back, but although painful, I think it does give me some relief. Sending prayers and good vibes that you feel better!
Mags
Bim, love the pic! Since being around so many bird lovers, I am really starting to take more of an interest in them. Of course my favorite are the little blue penguins! They are finding that birds are very, very smart.
I just love this thread and am so grateful for the wonderful people here and I feel lucky to be a part of this group!
Have a wonderful day all. Thank you all so much for the support and love.

All good thanks, I barely felt it..until later. Bit sore and bruised now but nothing too bad.

I love an early walk, Bim. Everything is so fresh.

Greetings, all.

Aly, your laundry story reminded me of my apartment living days. Two washers and dryers were shared by about 12 units. There was always the usual wait but the worst thing was being next in line from whomever must have worked in concrete mixing/construction as (presumably) he would leave the washers with remnants of sane and gravel. It was a nightmare to follow him.

Kaily, good to hear that your injection went fairly well; hopefully, you will find relief soon.

Bim, glad you enjoyed your walk: thanks for the pic.

Boondock, the birds around my area (not too far yours, I assume) are stunning and sooo interesting.

Mags, , lovely one.

It can really be a nightmare to be behind someone that inconsiderate. I used to own my own townhouse but I had my own washer and dryer in my unit. So much better than having to deal with some of these people. It can be kind of stressful sometimes. We have some really nice neighbors and some rather odd ones, to be kind.
I don't think things have changed all that much...

Well done Kaily, fingers crossed it does some good.

I hope your washing went without incident Aly.

It FINALLY seems to be clearing up hear now it's getting dark. The football is not really engaging me but I shall continue to watch Eng V Czh Rep (1-0 at half time)

I hope you are feeling a bit better bim. The 2020 European Football (soccer) Championships are taking place right now. I expect you have watched every game so I am waiting for your assessment.

Good Morning Weekenders

Sunny morning here

I managed to take my wheelie bin to end of drive without any mishaps.

Kaily, really good news that you had the jab with no real problem. Hope it helps a lot.

I’ve not shared a washer with anyone but I do remember going to the bagwash (laundrette) with my friend for her family’s laundry and we’d have a delicious drink of hot chocolate. Good times.

Hi Bim

Today we’re off to the coast, taking my mil and her friend. I’m hoping to get a paddle in, ( note to self...must remember to take towels)shell seeking and I’d love a game of crazy golf but don’t know if my wobbly knee will stand it. I’m sure there’ll be fish and chips.

See you later. Take care xxxx

Morning all. Looks like the sunshine might be back today - it was so cold yesterday evening I nearly put the heating on!

My pain was so much better last night, I could turn over without groaning and got out of bed without having to hold onto anything. Thank you steroid, long may it continue. Only allowed two injections in a year here.

A flower from my garden.

Morning Weekenders.

Kaily, that's good news about the injection. That is a very attractive flower - what is it? I have not seen one of those before I don't think.

It is good to see some blue (ish) sky again.

Kaily, that’s great news about your pain. Makes life a bit more manageable without it.
Gorgeous flower, I was wondering what flower it is, as Saou did. A Lily.
