Now I want pizza.

I haven't had pizza in a very long time.

I just got back from my river walk. I saw two river otters in the river today and a cool flock of red winged blackbirds hanging out in my yard for the last few days. Probably 50 or so females and juveniles along with 20 or so males. The males kinda just look like crows with fancy shoulder patches.

There is a female (or juvenile) in the reeds at about the 50- sec mark.

Please let me sleep through the night tonight. Please.

Thanks Mags, great post! Peeling these onion rings off really brings lots of tears with it, but I know it’s going to be worth it if I can achieve long term sobriety.

(((Bim))) so sorry your kitty is declining and I agree how great it is that you’ve sober and giving her so much love and care, she’s a lucky girl to have had you rescue and love her for so many years ❤️

And I love the red wing blackbirds, I’ve never seen them before, and they bring to mind that fabulous Dr Hook song that I remember from my childhood ! Thank you
my Mum so loved Dr Hook and so do I ❤️

IN for the weekend and beyond!

The Ukulele instructor e-mail and asked that we become familiar with this song for a 'special request' that apparently does not involve dancing.
Mysterious!

I'm in too

I got so many layers I think I could be one of those bloomin' onion thingys Outback makes. They just keep peeling, and peeling, and peeling.

I wouldn't mind a little dipping sauce as I try to analyze my inner self. Let's hope I find it soon

Sao, I really liked your observation about me getting to retirement sober. I want that.

Dragon, I love the Shrek clip.

Saou look at this Christmas card. Will you be dressing up Mr. Penguin for the festive season?

Hi Pete and HeadEast

MantaLady, it’s nice you can work from home sometimes, spend time with the kitties.

Yep, the weekend is coming, time for flexing our sober muscles.

Good to see you Petercrab, HeadEast.

That is an interesting task you have been set Dragon. I have not heard that song played in a while.

Neat Christmas card Mags. A few years ago I had the figure to be a penguin, fortunately I have shed a couple of pounds since then.

Look forward to the decs pics Pete. I’m on day 2 of putting them out, I haven’t got a lot just have to pace myself. Why did I get so many things that need batteries, taking forever to put them in my tree candles. Phew.

Hi mags.. What triggers me? The sunshine, being miserable, visiting my best friend, 5pm, having people over for tea, being on holiday, being lonely, so many things...
