I know it’s the wee hours of the morning for you but check in and let us know how yesterday went. Did you make it safely through the day?

Hi Joe and Gypsy. Yesterday went well . I only had one hour of cravings. I finally told my parents about the concussion and falls. I did an online meeting. I slept for 3 hours in the afternoon. My groceries arrive after midday today. I fell asleep last night by thinking of everything I have to be grateful for. I have piles of bottles to get rid of. They are all piled up in bags in the toilet and laundry. There is another pile in my bedroom. Tomorrow is bin day so I should be able to start chucking them out. I have to put them in the car and drive out to the front of the townhouse complex because they make the bin too heavy.
How are you guys going.? Thanks so much for your support.

I want to give you a huge hug, I'm so proud of you!!

Keep up the good work!

I'm drinking some post-lunch tea right now. It tastes even better after reading your post.

I've left some pretty harsh comments on your previous threads mostly because I saw a lot of me in your struggles..
8 days is great, do whatever it takes to make it 80, 800, 8,000....

Way to go sweeti, had a concussion before and my advice is take it easy. If those cravings come follow Dee's words. Keep up with the posts.

Well the groceries are finally arrived but after cleaning up last night and waking at 4am. I am totally exhausted. So badly want a drink right now to get rid of my migraine and shoulder pain. Maybe I just need to buy a takeaway later. I totally overdid it yesterday and this morning. Someone please talk me out of driving to the pub. Just for two drinks to take the edge off.

Sweetichick, you've come so far--please don't even think of going to the pub now!

The last thing you want to do is drink! Not sure the time there but can you get to a meeting or call an AA member? You have a week under your belt so don't blow that time away by doing something you will regret terribly.
