So very sorry for your loss, Dee! Way too young!

Yes, it is hard to find the point and maybe you are right about there not really being one. . Maybe we just search for our own meaning in such losses, and in time how we can become stronger. Sending you prayers and support as you grieve.

So sorry. If anyone can be an example and a testament to what it means to enter into sobriety with purpose and meaning, it's you. We are all thankful for that.

Sorry to hear about your friend Joe, Dee.
Seems the older we get the more we see friends that didn't clean up their lives checking out early. It's sad to see lives that may have lasted much longer cut short from alcohol and drugs. My hope for all that have recovered is to hang a life well used on the hook before leaving this world.

So sorry Dee. Heartfelt condolences to you and to your mate (Joe's) family. Never easy losing our loved ones. My eyes still leak when I think about those I've lost whether my husband, my mother, my grandson, or a few of my close friends. Hold them dear to your heart as they can still bring you comfort and healing even after their departure. Prayers and hugs for you.
