Seems the older we get the more we see friends that didn't clean up their lives checking out early. It's sad to see lives that may have lasted much longer cut short from alcohol and drugs. My hope for all that have recovered is to hang a life well used on the hook before leaving this world.

So sorry Dee. Heartfelt condolences to you and to your mate (Joe's) family. Never easy losing our loved ones. My eyes still leak when I think about those I've lost whether my husband, my mother, my grandson, or a few of my close friends. Hold them dear to your heart as they can still bring you comfort and healing even after their departure. Prayers and hugs for you.
