Joe seemed like the wise old guy of the group even when he was younger than most of us.

I'm struggling to see the point here - but maybe there is no point.

maybe its just a stupid human mistake.

We roll the dice long enough, eventually the house wins.

Sorry to hear that Dee. The sober life of recovery evidently is just not the path for the majority seemingly. Very grateful that I got sober and have recovery (recovered). 🙏
