I know, I always think that.
FWIW, I have a Siamese mix cat who took an over-exuberant leap up onto the balcony rail...and continued out into space. Third floor, she fell onto concrete below. I raced her to the vet where the only thing they found wrong was a raspberry on her chin...and one fewer life.
She didn't eat much for a couple days, I'm sure she didn't feel too well.
That was 15 years ago and she's still with me. She hasn't jumped on the railing since.
Smart kitty.

I was watching, "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" (Seinfeld's thing on Netflix) the other day and he had a little blip about, "Why is it men like dogs and women like cats? I mean, men generally don't like relationships with clingy, needy - and women want relationships that are not aloof and standoffish. So why do men like clingy dogs and women like aloof cats? You'd think it would be the opposite."
Goodnight Captain
Nice to see you posting....
We came home this evening from our camping trip. I noticed that my dog took a liking to the bonnet and roof of my car (which I left like an idiot in the middle of the yard) and the paint work looks none the best for it....to be honest it's a proper mess. Mrs Vman was saying that he missed me so associated the car to me so plopped up on it. My neighbor was feeding him every day...
Could be worse
I learned a valuable lesson from this incident
Goodnight weekenders.

Goodnight weekenders.
This weekend I am borrowing that car I mentioned and I am going to make blissful runs to the grocery store for heavy things like water and LaCroix and catfood and kitty litter! This is very exciting to me. I have a few shifts scheduled at work, as I do every weekend. That usually keeps me out of trouble.
