One of my anxiety-fighting tools is online jigsaw puzzles. They force me to use parts of my brain I tend to forget about and I also breathe and relax while doing them.

Except today!

I love airplanes. I love everything about them, so this one I was thinking, "Cool!" Until I was almost done with it and I thought, "Who wants a job with so much stuff on their head just to keep them alive? I mean, so much could go wrong!" (Never mind the hunk of metal and electronics you're sittin' in.) Oh. Young men and women who like that kind of intense focus...

For me, I got claustrophobic at the end of the puzzle. And really, I would have never survived flight school.

Thank God for that parachute. Watch the canopy!!!

I'm with you Vman but my neighbour's consider themselves to be southerners and the mobile guillotine comes out if you suggest otherwise. Toulouse is a beautiful city.
I hope you make it to the caves one day Lascaux - a unique experience in a lovely part of the world.

Well, we have an Army of Frogs now so anything's possible.

We will come after you all with our baguettes...
The frogs are a great nation once you get to know and understand their ways...

Bim it was the inaugural flight of the new Airbus Beluga XL yesterday. I saw it from my office window taking off. It's quite a bird.

Goodnight weekenders from frogland

I live in Boeing territory. I think I prefer, "Dreamliner."

Who names a plane "Beluga?" Oh, Airbus.

*edit to say,* Oh, I like the paint job, though. Okay, a sense of humor goes a long way with me. "Beluga" it is. Are the pilots gonna be called Jonahs?

Hi CODPlayer!

I believe they are going to build five of those Helga XLs in all. Very impressive.

Ten Pin Bowling tonight, it is one of my friend's birthdays too. I am hoping it won't be "drinkier" than usual.

So what are they transporting in those that they need to be so big, I wonder? Other fuselages for big but smaller planes? We see fuselages on trains here all the time. Boeing has a couple different manufacturing locations around here for fabrication etc.

Seems like a lot of engineering hours if you're only gonna build five, doesn't it?

I'm sure they know more than I do about the market!

Interesting the whole front opens up.

Ok weekenders,

I will be clinging close to this thread for the weekend. My husband is gonna be gone for a week and in the past it was my free pass to drink when I wanted and as much as I wanted without having that watchful eye monitoring every moment of my actions.

If I am posting like a maniac please forgive me. I just want to keep my sobriety going...:P 67 days as of today. Whoot woo......
