I took a walk with Luke, my German Shepherd, and it was so gorgeous out. I was grateful I was sober to enjoy it.

Morning, weekenders.

Mandy - Welcome and good job on going sober through the weekend. You will like it this way)

I've finally had a decent sleep. Need to get my blood work done so the doc is sure I am ok. It means no breakfast of coffee.

See you)

Happy Monday Morning!

I take the car in for repairs and get a loaner. I have no idea what they'll give me. exciting! It's a 'high end' body shop so I'm not expecting a beater....

I hope you'll get kick-arse loaner, Dragon.

One of my boxing buddies once got Audi8 as a loaner. On the way back a traffic cop stopped him to check documents and then added "I wonder what kind of a car you have in a repair shop if've got this kind of a loaner".

If I am not mistaken it was some BMW.

Thanks Vman!

ST - I hope you get to drive something different in a good way! I find it fun to see how other cars drive... like a test drive for the future.

MB - That temperature is just plain yuck! The nights are still around 2 to 5C here but the days and mornings are getting really nice.

Welcome to Weekenders Mandy73!

Evening everyone, nearly hometime here. There is young chap at work who believes every conspiracy theory going. I have tried not to but cannot seem to prevent myself from making a few up whenever I speak to him. If anyone hears a theory that the Moon is a fake after the original was accidentally blown up you will know who to blame.

Greetings New- & Old-Timers ~

Just rolled in yesterday from a 2 Week RV Trailer Trip down to Lake Powell on the Arizona -> Utah State Line. All were had by a good time. Below, the Colorado River flows out of Lake Powell, and meanders on down to the Grand Canyon. I'm on Navajo Bridge. Not for the faint-hearted, but a pretty amazing perspective.

I'm here to tell ya, this Sober Life rubs off on ya. I helped a local Sheriff's Deputy in his efforts to dig out a low-slung Car stuck off the Road in powder-fine Sand. Pulled them out with my Tow Strap in 4WD. Didn't think a thing of talking to the Deputy; wondering about 'how I smelled'. Clambered around Lake-side Rocks with the Pooch, and got some nice Pix. Tended to a few nice Campfires, and never worried about stumbling into one. Safely towed a ~7,000 lb. Camp Trailer ~400 Miles Home yesterday; including over some Mountain Roads down very steep Grades.

'Boy, I'm sure disappointed that I sobered up' [said no one ever]!

Sao - you are the best, are you aware of this? Seriously, hilarious.

Mesa - Great to see you! Thank you for the pic.

I'm back from my first weightlifting workout after bronchitis, and it was super light.

Tomorrow I am having super-light boxing session (sounds like an oxymoron, I know).

Time to do some writing)

Have a good and as-unstressful-as-possible Monday, weekenders.

I got a 2016 Ford Focus as a loaner. Nice car 'cept the postage stamp sized display for the backup camera makes the one in my Dodge Dart look like a wide screen TV.
