Weekender 19- 23 April 2018
Checking in after a lovely day of exploring the woods and ending with a sunset hike. Need to write down some gratitudes because despite my good day I'm feeling discontent and find myself comparing my life to someone else's. At least I made it through the day without picking up because of it.

Hi, weekenders.
I am up ridiculously early, considering I had hard time falling asleep yesterday.
I hear thunderstorm roaring.
Going to treat myself to coffee and UFC fight night.
Sober Sunday mornings are always a special kind of pleasure.
See you)

Welcome to Weekenders country!
I'm glad your bronchitis is clearing up MidnightBlue.
RIP Verne Troyer. It seems he was a fellow struggler too.
It is the London Marathon today, I am going to walk down to watch it later.

Hope you enjoy the light workout MB.
Sao, enjoy race day.

Hats off to all the London Marathon runners today, both the serious racers and the fun runners. They are having to deal with heat issues - something of a first for London.
My friends have been drinking for about the last hour so I will be leaving soon.

I am back from the gym. I did 15 minutes of walking on a treadmill and 15 minutes on elliptical. Couldn't resist to do some boxing moves like agility ladder footwork. But decided to wrap it up and take it easy.
It's ridiculous how much muscles I've lost just in 3 weeks..Sigh.
Ok. I have to make a trip to a drug store because insomnia is bugging me and I will go in for melatonin to help me out a little bit.
See you)

Congrats Mandy!
This is prime time for me... wife is working, kids in bed, and hockey is on. Not tonight though. Going to have a ginger ale with a touch of lemon juice, get some work done, and continue using online tools like SR.

Congrats to everyone who made it through.
Keep it goin'.
Such a lovely weekend here. Sunshine, warm enough for shorts if you're nuts like me. Long walk on the beach today for a couple hours.
So great to be sober. Thank you. Food now - please.
